« Very helpful, we were going to be later than anticipated arriving, phoned to let them know, they reassured us it was no problem, everything was ready for our stay. Check-in at the bar was easy, staff showed us to our studio, staff very cheerful. Food in the pub was great, not just pub grub. Only downside, studio was small. »

« The hotel was still being built on arrival. I had not been sent any instructions on how to access the building so could not get in for the first hour. When I left my room during the afternoon and returned, workers from the hotel were in my room removing a fridge. They accepted they should have checked with me first but this meant I left the hotel a night early as I did not feel safe in my room. »

« Nice and spacious place. Lots of care and thought has gone into providing everything you’d need. Perfect location for Bishop Auckland sights, including walkable to Kynren (only 20 mins easy walk, avoiding waiting in a queue to get in or out after the show). »

« Very spacious and comfortable, large bedrooms, large kitchen, good bathroom & shower, nice sitting room. Nice & warm. Plus everything you might need has been provided in the kitchen - very thoughtful! Great location, close to to downtown and also great starting point for day trips. »
