Host was very welcoming and everything was great! The house is fully equipped and ready for multiple families to stay there! The teens love the game room and upstairs bunk room. The adults enjoy the stocked kitchen, laundry room and outside area. The kids also enjoyed the hot tub. Thanks for another great stay at your beautiful home! We will be back!

My family was celebrating our Dad’s 77th birthday. We needed a home that would be large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. This was the perfect place. It had PLENTY of seating in the main living/dining area, as well as, the outdoor patio area. The kids loved having a room big enough that could hold all their cousins for a big sleepover. The game room was also a hit and the pool was the cherry on top. Plus the beautiful lake view. My father and stepmom both have mobility issues so having the main gathering areas (both inside and outside) on the ground floor was exactly what we needed, plus no steps getting in their bedroom, bathroom, and shower. The kitchen is a cooks dream. The pantry was fully stocked with all the necessities and the owners have truly thought of everything. This place is a hidden gem.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and well provisioned with everything we needed. The pool was absolutely perfect and it is as pretty as it appears in the pictures. It is also by far the largest pool we have had in a VRBO rental and my family really enjoyed it. Kevin was also very helpful and responsive and we appreciated his insights into some of the good restaurants nearby. The only minor comment that I would have is that there are no hand rails on any of the staircases in the house. My son has special needs and this made going up and down the steps challenging for him. I thought I would mention this so that anyone else in a similar situation would be aware. Overall, this is a fantastic property with great hosts and we enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Located in a quiet neighborhood, what a wonderful home to enjoy the laid back lake life. This was our family vacation (ages 14-85 including our 4legged “child”) and it did not disappoint. Finally a kitchen well stocked to cook for a family of 12 (big pans/bowls/etc) with outdoor grill, spices, and basic kitchen needs… just bring the meat and veggies. Even in late July, we lived on the covered cool back porch and meandered to the pool and lake for swimming. The teens thoroughly enjoyed kayaking and fishing. The game room provided a retreat for the adults to have quiet time while the teens held ping ping tournaments and played Tetris. We all enjoyed movie night and even dared the heat of the jacuzzi. Overall, the stay was great and the communication from hosts was excellent. I highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at this home! It’s just a special place and the perfect lake getaway! The Kitchen is stocked and well prepared for big families. The teens loved the kayaks, the game room and the kid sleeping room on the second floor. They have their own private areas. We all loved the pool and the patio. It was an amazing family vacation! We will be back!

Amazing family vacation spot!

The property was amazing! Perfect for hosting a large family! The views were gorgeous from the house overlooking the pool and the lake! The accommodations were clean, open Spaces for large gatherings, and the outdoor area was phenomenal! Loved having the pool to keep us cool in the hot weather and when we were not on a boat! The owners were helpful if we needed anything, and the communication was very clear ! Highly recommend!

Beautiful lake house

We had a wonderful stay here at Lake Hartwell. Just a long two-week family trip with our two boys. Kevin was a great host - answered all questions quickly prior to our trip, and we only reached out once during the stay and he was very responsive and helpful. House and kitchen are fully stocked and it is a very clean and a really beautiful home. We rented a boat and had no problems using their nearby reserved community dock space. Lots of fun playing ping pong in the cool game room every night. Was just what we needed and would definitely return if coming back to this area again. You won't be disappointed!

Recommend this home highly

The home was extremely clean. The kitchen well stocked for a vacation rental. Communication was was easy, kind and receceiced prompt responses. The rental process was easy. View ofthe lake beautiful. Located on lake was best of both worlds. Deep water for swimming and in a cove for extremely minimumal boat tracffic. Perfect for children and grandcholdren. Entertaintain for outdoor sunset dinners provided with a marble var. Barbecue , sink, and even a greenegg for cooking.every wish for provided for fun on the lake. Fishing poles w/tackle, flloats, sand tpys galore. Gane room is amazing for adults and children. This is home for large famies in search of a family reunuion or a quiet short stay to get away from the city. Recommend this property highly.

House was great. We had a lot of fun. I would rent this house again. Slightly disappointed that I was not able to put my boat in the slip/dock due to the dock not being pushed out. I even messaged the owner about the boat before I booked the trip.

Gorgeous setting

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful setting from just about every room in the house. Extremely well equipped, we lacked nothing. We loved the pool with a diving board. Pool furniture needs to be replaced. Only 2 back elements worked on the stove. Only half of the hot tub jets worked. Other than that, this place was spectacular and I would definitely return.

Heaven in Hartwell

This is a fabulous large home on the lake in Hartwell. There is plenty of room for multiple people to stay and also to spread out so you never feel crowded. The amenities are great and the hidden game room is a lot of fun! We came for our daughter’s college graduation from Clemson and while it is about an hour away from the school, that turned out to be nice because we were able to get away from all the crowds of people. The house is located on a quiet street and the supermarket, gas station, and other stores are only a 3-4 mile drive down the road. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing stay :)

Nice and relaxing

This home was perfect for relaxing, playing cards, eating on the covered patio, just hanging out and unwinding. All great things to do when it’s too chilly to be near the lake. We chose to visit the Hartwell Animal Safari as a local activity. Super fun thing to do and hilarious!

A great getaway!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at this beautiful home. This is our second year staying at this home and we had a wonderful time. The kitchen is nice and big and perfect for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Plenty of table space for everyone to eat! We had teenagers ranging in age from 12-19 and they all had a great time sleeping upstairs in the bunk room and hanging out in the game room. They also enjoyed the hot tub! The adults enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake, eating yummy food and watching football. It was a wonderful vacation! Thank you!

A little slice of heaven
