« Room was well furnished and had everything we needed including a bottle opener, wine glass, even a hot water bottle! Bed was comfy and there was a really useful folder of info in the room, the owner had included a few suggested walks around the property which was great and we did one of them just to stretch our legs.
Ample parking, and the property was very well kept, no issues with noise or anything from the farm we were attached to.
Loved the fact the owner offered proper milk for the rooms...

« Our room was well maintained and we like staying in unique, historic properties. A bath in the nook in front of the window seemed a little strange. We thought a sofa with a coffee table would be a more relaxing option after a day of sightseeing.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The state of the beer garden is a shame. It looked really run down albeit unique with a throne at one of the tables. If you struggle with mobility, the car park is between 5 - 10 mins walk away. Not a...

« For the price can't complain as you also get free parking. The room was clean and tidy with clear instructions as to how to access the room key.
The restaurant is dog friendly also and food delicious.
Just bear in mind it can be noisy in the room until the restaurant closes but not a massive issue. »

« It’s a lovely cottage which contains pretty much all you need. It’s very warm inside and there are lovely features. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, some biscuits and milk which was very thoughtful.
Improvements would be that 3 people wanted a shower but the hot water ran out after 1.5 people. Also there were a few cobwebs around and it could do with a paint touch up here and there.
Great value for money and we had a lovely stay. »
