„We loved the view from the porch, the beautiful more old-fashioned rooms, amazing friendly owners and staff and lots of things to see and do in the nearer surrounding! A pool and a lovely grill area make it even more a place to feel good and enjoy. We have not been disturbed by the street at all. The property is quite old and at some points you can see it. But that just makes it even more charming. “

„Nice clean room. The private balcony had a great view and was really cool in the early morning but it was too hot to use the rest of the day while we were there...temps in the 90's. We love this area and had previously stayed at The Evening Shade a few times and next door at Carters Lodge. We were really sad that one is gone and the other boarded up. „With the lake not yet active after the storm I was concerned if the younger adults would be bored or not have a great time. We all had a blast. That game table is a hit! Good for. A few minutes entertainment or several hours depending on what you want to play. Very comfortable beds. Very beautiful place. Easy to use tbs and kitchen ware. Enough technology to impress. But not ultra technical gadgets to complicated to use. We had an awesome time! Will stay again if available. Quiet neighborhood ...
