We enjoyed our stay there - the hot tub, the firepit, the pool table, the foosball, and especially the huge king size beds. It had a nice, warm cabin feel. We appreciated the fact that they had the cabin decorated for our Christmas stay. Our only disappointment was that the shower pressure was awful, just a trickle. Also the lights above the kitchen sink did not work.

Clean and Cozy!

Our family had a great time at Falling Leaf Lodge! The cabin was very clean and cozy and had plenty of room for all of us to spread out (4 adults and 3 kids). The kids especially loved the bunk beds and game room downstairs, and we all enjoyed the fire pit for s'mores and the trail out back where we were lucky enough to have a couple of deer sightings early in the mornings. Overall we had a lovely family weekend here, and we would definitely come back!

Falling Leaf-Falling a Little Short

The house is just like what it looks like in the pictures. I would say that the little things need some attention. We got in late because we had a 10 and half hour drive so we only noticed some things the next couple of days. The kitchen oven needs to be cleaned thoroughly. The table to eat on is sticky because the varnish is not on it anymore. The pool table felt was really dusty and when trying to play on it with the bed on one side and the shelf on the other made it difficult to use the table. We found the towels had a funny smell to them after only one use to dry after showering. The outside firepit had a huge post in it that made lighting a good fire in it challenging. We would have liked to have been able to keep the windows open for fresh air while we were at the house but there are no screens. All in all we had a good time but my friend that slept upstairs was woken often during the night due to the acorns hitting the roof. Also, we could never find the light switch for the lights over the sink. Thank you.

The cabin is beautiful and it is in a great location. However, the third floor smelled strongly of dog and was completely unusable. I contacted the property manager and he offered to send a cleaner over. I refused, since I have a respiratory condition and I am sensitive to the over spraying of chemicals. 1/3 of our cabin smelled strongly of dog and my children could not even use the bathroom because of how strong the pet dander and odor was. They had plugins throughout the cabin along with an air purifier so clearly they were aware of how bad the odor was.

Great Location

Fantastic cabin! Less than 30 min from Helen & only 15 min from Super Walmart, Dollar Store & other stores. It’s located in a small, private neighborhood & roads to the home are easily accessible in any car. Driveway is steep but paved. Check-in process was simple & easy. Kitchen had most things needed but we did have to stop for a few items. The decor throughout was nicely appointed & tastefully done. The fire pit outside was the best feature!! Plenty of seating & close to the grill so you you could cook & hang with family still. We loved roasting marshmallows! Outdoor hot tub worked well & was clean. Be sure to check out the hiking trails behind the cabin that lead down to a babbling creek (had cold water even in July). It’s stunning down there & so peaceful!! We saw lots of deer everyday while walking it. Water was so cold to walk into even in mid-July! Overall, the cabin was great and we could recommend it again!

Fantastic

It's a great place in a nice quiet neighborhood! We had plenty of space for two families of 4. There was more than enough parking for our two large vehicles, while the bedrooms and bathrooms are also spacious. The kitchen is well-stocked with all items. The beds were comfortable and plenty of towels for everyone. We enjoyed the game room, the sauna, and the hot tub. We used the grill and enjoyed our time around the fire pit with comfortable chairs. I got promt answers to any questions that I had. I could not ask for anything more!

Mini birthday cabin getaway

The property was stunning. Wish there was a shower in the basement and the pool table located a little different spot since we love playing pool but kept hitting the wall or something. The driveway was very steep and was a bit scary to go down especially in the evening. Maybe put a bigger number sign to be able to see at night. But overall it was fantastic stay.

It was a Great experience! Description of the property was spot on. Everything was thought of for ones needs for the stay. Everything was operational and that a rarity when staying away.
