The absolutely best cabin !!!

We had our family come down and stay for a birthday weekend and this cabin was perfect! This is by far the best cabin we have ever stayed in and will probably never stay in another cabin! Very spacious, super clean, breathtaking views and gorgeous cabin and thats just the inside! The putside has the best entertainment area underneath the cabin providing a bathroom, hot tub, bar area, never ending seating, and a beautiful firepit! Book this place but don't lol that way I can book it again! Will definitely be back.

Great location- comfortable stay

The house is right on the river and a short walk from town. There is a ton of outside seating. The cabin has a great rustic feel and the bedrooms are all comfortable. The kitchen is very nice.We only needed 4 bedrooms, but there is also a bunk bed as you are entering the cabin. It is kind of in the open, so if you need that, just be prepared It was very quiet when we were there, but in the summer there are a.lot of tubbers on the river.We will gladly go back!

(positives) Property was awesome - plenty of space and great location on the river and convenient to town. (deltas - things they can improve on) - Cabin sleeps 12 but the "starter" supplies like towels/trash bags/laundry&dish detergent/paper towels don't support that number - please consider more. The light switches were confusing even when labeled and were not intuitive or convenient - one of the porch lights also turns on lights in an apparent add-on bedroom. The master light light switch does not have the fan wired separate, so it hard to use without waking people with the light. Please consider rewiring with guest comfort and convenience in mind. Another minor issue is the "color/temperature" of the lights. Many of the lights such as those in the master are harsh white lights. These are NOT pleasant to look at. Recommend replace most lights with "warm" lights, not "white" or "daylight" temperature as these are very harsh and uninviting. Also, consider having riversticks on hand for guests, maybe even some tubes. The grills were a bit old, and the wire brushes for the grills were falling apart which is a health concern. Recommend the wire brushes be replaced with non-metal brushes for guest safety. Consider getting some towel drying racks for guests. There was space to seat ~24 people under the house while only 12 guests are allowed to stay, which was a little off but not an issue. Still, some of that space could be used for something else instead of tables.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at River Haus. We had family from 3 years to 73 and everyone agreed it was one of our favorite vacations. The location, walkabilty to downtown, and the proximity to the river made it a perfect spot for us. The house is amazing and had everything we needed. Wonderful trip!

Long weekend in Helen

This house is an excellent option for a group of 6-8 people. House is like a huge log cabin with an amazing outdoor area to enjoy. You can sit on the porch and watch the tubers go by. Easy walk to downtown (10-15 minutes). We had one question about the hot tub and heard back immediately. Thanks for a great stay- we will definitely be back!!

Awesome Property

River Haus is an awesome property. It appears to have been well maintained and cared for. Our family’s ages are 62-87 so 6 recliners were perfect for us. Beds were all comfortable as well. Kitchen had everything we needed, (only ate one lunch out in 4 days/nights). Loved all the labeled light switch & misc. wall plates. We fished right off of the property, enjoyed the fire pit and being on the water was so relaxing. A very large outdoor basement area was a nice surprise. The only thing we would have benefited from was an ice maker but that’s not a deal breaker when making another trip. All 7 of us loved it. We’d absolutely stay there again!

The most beautiful cabin I have ever been to.

My experience at this cabin in Helen, Georgia on Christmas Eve was simply exceptional. We spent unforgettable moments with family and friends in a cozy and picturesque setting. The cabin was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The view from the terrace of the river that runs behind the house was spectacular. Having coffee or chocolate or having a barbecue with that view was wonderful. The cozy atmosphere of the cabin, with its fireplace and rustic decoration, gave us a perfect atmosphere to enjoy the holiday season. Plus, the location close to outdoor activities and the lovely town of Helen added even more value to our stay. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and cozy escape in the mountains of Georgia.

Fun on the Chattahoochee

This house was so clean and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked. The river is just steps from the back porch. Our grandsons loved sitting in the hot tub and being able to watch movies. The location of the property is very convenient. The traffic in Helen is horrific, so it was very nice to be able to walk to Main Steet.

AMAZING

River Haus property was beyond amazing. Had plenty of room for our group and we all loved the location right on the river. We tubed and was able to stop about halfway through at the property for bathroom and drink break The outdoor entertainment area was a huge hit with everyone and walking distance to town was also a huge convenience. Best Cabin Yet!

The pictures don’t do this cabin justice! It exceeded our expectations! Extremely clean! There was more than enough room. There were 4 large bedrooms and a queen size bunk bed room off the main living area which was a bonus. The room overlooking the river seemed newly constructed and the view was amazing! There were so many grills and flat tops that we stayed in to cook almost every night. It was the perfect location to town yet on a quiet back street. You could definitely have walked to town but we chose to golf cart which I highly recommend. We enjoyed watching the tubers from the riverside swing as well! We will be staying at this cabin again!

This is our 2nd time renting this house and we have loved it every time! They actually added a bonus room that allows you to sleep next to the Chattahoochee River.. This house has everything in the kitchen which made it so easy for all of us.
