I truly cannot say enough great things about this property and its hosts. Our group had such a great time here. The house was in fantastic condition, it was thoughtfully stocked with supplies, and had every amenity one could imagine. The property is beautiful and obviously has more space than we knew what to do with. The hosts were accommodating, responsive, and welcoming from beginning to end.I can confidently say this is one of the best property rental experiences I have ever had. I'm not sure when yet, but I'm sure we will be back!

Property was very clean. Host provided many "extras" for things that may have been forgotten, which was incredibly convenient. The grocery store down the road had everything we needed and was only 4 minutes from the house. The screened-in porch was a godsend to protect from the bugs and surprisingly offered cooler temperatures on hotter days as well. Trails: All trails are appropriate for beginner hikers. I will mention the blue trail is very rocky and has lots of roots towards the flower cottage: watch your step!Property has 3 areas to be rented; lake front, flower garden and "glamper". The property has over 20 acres with many options including volleyball/badminton nets, soccer nets, and other yard games, the rec room also had several games suitable for all ages. This would be a great location for a large family vacation or a reunion. Swimming area in the lake was great for the younger kids and is approximately 3 feet deep. The sandy beach was nice for building sand castles just need to watch your step for goose poop. Overall this was a great vacation with lots to do for the entire family.

One of the best vacation stays

This was one of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed at! The place was spotless, private, and just steps from the beach. We had it all to ourselves, which made it so peaceful and relaxing. It was incredibly well-stocked — everything we could have possibly needed was already there, and then some. The host was super accommodating and made the whole experience easy and stress-free. Best of all, it was perfect for little kids! Safe, clean, and thoughtfully equipped for a family stay. We’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!

Great Getaway

We had an amazing stay at the Highland Lake property! Everything exceeded our expectations, not only was every small detail considered but the host was extremely responsive as well. Home Away From Home

This property is Absolutely Fantastic! All you need to bring is food, beverages, and clothes. From the killer layout to every possible necessity, anything else you would need is already there. Awesome family time

Our family - including 2 infants + 2 children - had such a memorable time. Peaceful Lake Retreat

My family and I loved our time spent here. The activities offered between the REC room to the kayaks/canoe,trails were just the right options to please each individual. Jason seems to have thought of everything a guest would need for their stay here to be comfortable and extra special. Almost like a home away from home.Cottage is lovely and inviting,grounds are beautiful and the lake is calming. The Catskills never disappoint and this property was the icing on the cake. Thoughtful accommodations

We were impressed by how clean this property was. We also really enjoyed all of the thoughtful accoutrements provided. There were shower caps, shampoo, soap, body wash. These are things not usually provided when you rent a house. This reminded us of a nice hotel. Furthermore, the kitchen was fully stocked and the rec center had everything you would need to play outside or hang out by the lake. Jason was an awesome host. My kids are already asking to go back in the summer.

This is, hands down, the most beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed home we’ve ever found for a weekend rental. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything. The check-in process was so seamless. Communication clear and easy. House was immaculate. So many little details that are just perfect. The listing was 100% accurate and we feel like the house delivered even more than advertised. But even outside the house, the grounds are amazing. All of the surrounding area is as well. Quiet and peaceful and serene. I cannot recommend this home and its hosts highly enough. Wish I could give even more stars!

Love this house and property!

We had an amazing family vacation here! There’s absolutely everything you need from paddle boards to fishing boats to a great lawn where you can play all sorts of games. My boys were hitting golf balls the whole weekend (that’s how big the lawn is!) The house is immaculate, updated and beautifully decorated. We will be back.

Amazing weekend!

There’s not enough good things I can say about this house and property! My husband, family and I, as well as all of 4 of our dogs had an absolute blast! The instructions for checking in and all other house instructions were more than reasonable and easy to understand! The property and rec area was an amazing bonus to an already phenomenal place! My family and I are soo looking forward to visiting again during the summer! The only thing we wished was present was a dog run of sorts and keeping 4 pups in check was chaotic but not unmanageable! We can’t wait to go back!

PERFECT GETAWAY ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Planned a small family getaway for my Husband’s 56th Birthday. Jason, the host made us feel very welcomed. After a long drive it was nice to see a basket of snacks awaiting us. The house itself was very warm and inviting. Our host definitely pays attention to the details. There was plenty of well-stocked items in the home and everything was in working order…..and labeled. YAY! That helped me so much. Although we got caught in an arctic freeze that we didn’t expect, the house was warm and we laughed so hard playing the board games (That’s What She Said) and (Table Talk). Being able to celebrate the birthday in the Recreation room was cool. We played Darts, basketball, ping pong and more . Thank you Jason for taking the time to swing by to sing happy birthday and take some photos. Did I mention how great it was to finally be able to bring the dogs with us. They too had a great time. AMAZING SERENE GETAWAY

There are not enough great things that we can say about this property! We were for a long weekend for my fiancé’s birthday. The organization, and check in process was awesome. Jason was incredibly responsive and was also kind enough to provide some birthday balloons for my fiancé, even though it was a last minute request. This is the perfect getaway for a family or a couple. The house literally has everything you need. There’s so much to do on the property itself. We went hiking, we enjoyed the game room, and our absolute favorite was kayaking. Our puppy loved it too. She was so fascinated by the deer and the puppy station station made the clean up during our walks so simple. We highly recommend this property, we are already planning our next stay! Thanks so much for everything Jason! * we also definitely recommend waking up early to watch the sunrise on the dock, it was a picture perfect!

This house is the most organized VRBO we have ever stayed at. So many thoughtful touches + everything is labeled. Jason went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. SUP + Jet ski experience + swimming + fire pit + extremely dog friendly! LOVED that the grass was mowed and yard sprayed for buggies too! 5+ stars!
