« We had a wonderful three-night stay at this cozy cabin in Hillman. It was the perfect distance from the Cities—close enough for an easy drive, but far enough to feel like a true getaway. « Didn’t use amenities!! The only strange thing was there wasn’t a House Rules book stating how to navigate the house! There wasn’t any firewood for the wood burning fireplace which would have been nice for Christmas Eve, if we needed to get our own, it would’ve been good to know that?! « This place is rustic, but has potential. No communication from host as to how to get in. I tried emailing the host via VRBO, calling, and texting. After texting I got the code to get in and the wifi. You have to have your own water to drink and cook with. It is well water without a filter for getting useable water. The well water has a potent smell and taste of iron. There aren't any curtains in the back of the house and the roll up curtains in one of the bedrooms aren't great. The furniture is...

« We enjoyed our stay at the Sunrise Cottage! The space was clean and just the right size for our family, and we really loved being able to walk right out the back door to the lake, we saw some beautiful sunrises! Our kids loved being able to go out and play in the sand and fish off the dock. We decided to try out the sauna and thought it was a good and unique amenity to have available.
