Bel hôtel désuet.

Personnel peu présent, aucune aide pour monter les bagages dans les chambres. Petit déjeuner très sommaire. Piscine petite et vieille. Jacuzzi hors service. Belle demeure et belles chambres. Situation isolée par rapport aux centres d'intérêt de l'ile.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel

Perfect stay over the holiday. Very nice room and grounds.Denise at the front desk was a wonderful help with directions and recommendations. The breakfasts was dry good as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay

Our stay at the Festiva Resort was absolutely wonderful. We brought our brother and his wife for a stay in the great state of South Carolina from Illinois. It was definiitely the highlight of our trip - in that this spa and inn is truly a well-kept secret. The location was in such a quiet and excellent location, the accomodations were wonderful and the staff was very accomodating! We hope that this wonderful inn will still be there for our next trip to HH.

Would not come back...

Initial first impressions at a hotel is major....and this place failed at the get go. When we arrived, the person on staff did not greet us...there was no smile--no welcome to our hotel, etc....which we can deal with...but, when we started asking questions or help, she gave us almost an annoyed look, like she did not want to be bothered while she surfed the internet (as we walked pass, you can see she was browsing MSN on her computer screen---not work related). We felt like immediately changing our hotel reservations and going elsewhere. There was no professionalism whatsoever....it was very disappointing. The upkeep of the grounds could have been nicer and cleaner. There is no way that we would ever recommend this place to anyone nor would we every go back there again.

Reasonably close to my son and his family on Hilto

I found it very nice. My wife was not so happy. We had the last available room. The other hotel where we stay when visiting my son and his family on Hilton Head Island was fully "booked". Next time we will probably try the Marriott there. The exterior and setting of the Main St. Inn was "beautiful".Exterior and physical setting.

Convenient to convention facilities

Quite pleasant with no glitches. This was my 3rd stay.Other HH properties are tired and noisy. Main St. is a nice exception.

very nice room and public/spaces/areas

This is a beautiful, small hotel offering some very nice amenities such as the evening happy hour and cookies all night. Apparently though the hotel has decided not to repair the spa that has long been mentioned by other reviewers. This was a disappointment. Only flaw in the service was forgetting to replace used glasses.

Disappointed the pool and outdoor hot tub were not clean and not working. Delicious breakfast and beautiful rooms and gardens. Friendly staff.

Quiet oasis in the midst of busy beach destination

A boutique hotel with a European/Savannah style. Stayed for three nights in July. Probably not a good choice for families with children, due to the quiet atmosphere of the hotel, distance from beach, and small pool. However, as an adult seeking a quiet getaway, this hotel was an excellent choice.

Great Surprise

We booked this hotel for the weekend of the fourth. We were a bit sad that we couldn't get anything closer to the beach, but we decided it was better than nothing. We were very pleased. Other than the distance to the beach- (you have to drive and during that weekend, all beaches had parking issues), it was perfect. The staff was great, the hotel was quiet, cute. The breakfast and happy hour was icing on the cake. I would go back.

Had a great time

The people at the front desk were very helpful in finding the right places for us during our short stay on Hilton Head. The rooms were clean. Only pitfall was an out of order hot tub.

Excellent service

Everybody fulfilled every request or desire we had. Extremely accommodating. It is like they want to give you things and go out of their way to get them to you. The room was amazing. It feels like you are staying in someone's guest bedroom not a motel.

Charming, quiet, close to 2 great restaurants. also a grocery store close by. only issue is location re:public beaches hard to find have to drive and not enough parking at these beaches.

Hidden Gem

The Inn was lovely, nestled away from the main road in Hilton Head. Romantic with so much old world charm. Too bad the hottub was filled with disgusting water rather than having it covered during repairs! My knee was looking forward to the warm water. Maybe next time. A wonderful find.

Unique stay in the beauty of Hilton Head

This is a beautiful and unique hotel with each room having its own style. My wife and I along with some close friends had two rooms and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were so comfortable and well-appointed and the staff was wonderful.We only stayed one night but wanted to make it a much longer stay. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast in the beautiful courtyard and felt like we had stepped into life in 19th. century Charleston.

Delightful Inn-like stepping into another era

If you want to relax when you choose, this is the place. Inside and out, time slows down-you don't even know the hubbub of the outside world exists. Will recommend the Main Street Inn to everyone.
