    Welcome to our St. Andrews Commons vacation home, located in the renowned Palmetto Dunes Resort on Hilton Head Island. This second-floor villa offers a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for your stay. As you step inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen with full-sized appliances, providing everything you need to prepare meals during your vacation. The tile floors add a touch of elegance to the space.

    The sunken living area features a large flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing and enjoying your favorite shows or movies. The dining area comfortably seats six, and there is additional seating for two at the counter. However, with the multitude of dining options available in Hilton Head, you may prefer to make reservations at one of the many restaurants in the area. The master bedroom boasts a queen-size bed and a television, offering a cozy and private retreat. The master bathroom is conveniently located just off the bedroom. There is also a second bedroom and bathroom upstairs, ensuring ample space for additional guests or family members. For extra sleeping accommodations, the sofa in the living room can be pulled out to reveal a sleeper sofa.

    One of the highlights of staying in Palmetto Dunes is the private beach access available at various locations throughout the resort. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning Hilton Head beaches at your leisure. Additionally, this vacation home is pet-friendly, the pool is open from April through October, allowing you to bring your furry family members along for the trip. It's the perfect setting for a family vacation, a getaway with friends, or a golf group outing. Palmetto Dunes Resort offers an array of amenities and activities to enhance your stay. With three championship eighteen-hole golf courses, 26 tennis courts, restaurants, shopping options, a marina featuring fireworks during the summer months, and a complimentary door-to-door shuttle service available from March to September, you'll have everything you need for a memorable vacation.

We had a great trip in this adorable Hilton head hideaway. The home was in great condition and had everything we needed. Great proximity to the beach, pool, and all the shops. Lovely experience.

Very cute place - and clean well kept. Great location. The bed in the main bedroom is a bit dated and wasn’t too comfortable to sleep in. That’s the only thing I would change!

Updated , clean and beautiful

This property is excellent for a small family needing a get away and want quite and comfortable setting . The pool is close and clean . Loved the bikes and riding trails on the property. Beach is far away but the Beach Buggy is easy and convenient way to go . All in all great experience.

Superb location & great home!

Fantastic stay at this wonderfully remodeled home. Property was very clean, modern, and welcoming. The complex was quiet and maintained. Beds comfy. Location is excellent and is beautiful walk of only 1.2 miles to Shelter Cove to find multiple restaurants and shops. We recommend Poseidon's for patio dining, and the French Bakery. The upstairs loft was well suited for our teens with their own bathroom.

Last minute booking

We booked last minute and had a great overall experience. Hilton Property Management was top notch. The property is in a good location on the resort. We biked daily to …the arcades, beach and mini golf. We traveled with two kids (7and 8). The twin beds upstairs is more loft style. It worked but doesn’t have a door, so that make it a little difficult to get them to bed with activities still going downstairs. The property was overall very clean and well stocked with pots and dishware. We did find small “water bugs” daily in the bathroom that was a little concerning, but perhaps they were coming from the pipes. The kids enjoyed the tic tac toe game and Alexa. We would visit again.

Amazing stay from start to finish on HHI!

My two boys, corgi, and I loved staying in this newly refurbished two-bedroom condo. It had everything we needed! They even placed food and water bowls out for our dog so he was all set upon arrival. The management team went above and beyond, answering all our questions and making sure an important FedEx delivery made it safely to the condo. We appreciate all their hard work on our behalf. The location is perfect for biking to the beach and pickleball courts, as well as to the great shops and restaurants across from Palmetto Dunes in Shelter Cove. Would definitely stay here again in the future, hopefully next summer!

Extremely dirty

I am extremely disappointed how Hilton Head Properties Realty & Rentals are responding to a problem with our recent stay. The condo itself was very nicely decorated and in a great complex. The neighbors in the complex were lovely. However I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the condo. The condo was extremely dirty when we arrived. I immediately called Hilton Head Properties and Darcy said she will send the cleaning crew back over. I had to wait for the new crew to arrive and clean the condo. The amount of dirt and hair that came out of the first room they cleaned was absolutely disgusting. The new cleaning crew even made a comment on how surprised they were with the dirtiness of the condo. They said they never see that much dirt in a recleaning job. I told them that all three beds were soiled with what appeared to be hair, food, and human waste on them. They told me unfortunately they could not clean the comforters/bedding and the owner would need to do that. It was late on a Saturday night so I had to strip all of the beds and wash them and dry them before we went to bed. Let me tell you, that is the last thing I wanted to do on my first day of vacation. I was up until midnight laundering the bedding. I had sent pictures of the piles of hair and dirt that came out of the first room that they recleaned along with pictures of all of the soiled beddings. I asked for a refund for one night's stay due to the fact that I had to waste an entire night laundering the bedding and waiting for new cleaners to show up. After going back and forth with the company they only offered to refund me my cleaning fee. That is unacceptable. I wasted an entire night cleaning a condo which I already paid to have cleaned. Not to mention I had to pay a $50 fee for an inspector…I am not sure how he/she passed the inspection when my daughter’s were able to point out the dirt. There was also a cockroach in the condo. I have contacted Hilton Head Properties again and still have not had a response. This is not acceptable and I deserve to be compensated for the inconvenience. I actually feel sorry for the owners of the condo. They are depending on you to clean their condo and rent it.

Great Condo for family and dog

Rental was very clean, had all necessary kitchen equipment including a French press, and extras that made the stay very comfortable. Our two kids loved the loft bedroom, and our dog loved watching outside from the tall windows throughout the living room. We rented bikes and enjoyed the great path right by the property. Great stay!

Comfortable stay

The property is beautifully decorated and has enough room to make it extremely comfortable as well as amenities that as a mom I found essential such as a washer/dryer and a dishwasher machine. It’s a decent walk to the beach if you don’t want to use the car (which we didn’t to avoid the mess), but the trail is really nice and paved to ride your bike or scooter or pull a wagon with beach gear, it worked for us! The pool, however, is just a few steps away from the condo, a 2 minute-walk. Overall the condo is a 5! The only cons are merely based on our previous experiences (and personal preferences). Nothing beats a beach front condo! Also pack some bug repellent spray the mosquitoes have no mercy. Try to get to the island early, everyone’s trying to enter at the same time and there’s only a 2 lanes making the traffic a nightmare! Also we got hit with random thunderstorms for the first 4 days/nights, (it’s an island after all plus no one can control the weather!) just a few things that made our vacation a 3.5/5 not related to the condo. Darcey was always helpful and informative, thanks a lot!! :)

Wonderful Stay

We were very impressed with this property, which was a step above typical rentals. Lovely furnishings, high quality linens, very well stocked with cookware (even Moscow Mule glasses!), high end appliances, laundry detergent, beach towels, chairs and an umbrella. Lovely back porch, quiet in the evenings. Great location for us and central to everything. Not walkable to the beach, but a short bike ride away and my understanding there is a shuttle. Will definitely stay here again. Two minor things to be aware of. First the twin beds are in a loft with a 4-5 foot wall, but still open to main room. I didn’t realize this from the pictures. This wasn’t an issue for us, but could be is you are planning to put younger kids to bed early. Second, the condo has Alexa, including smart bulbs on some lamps. I know most people would consider this a plus, but we prefer not to have Alexa on. This means when we turned on bedside and living room lamps, the bulbs would not stop flashing because they could not find Alexa. It was easy to get “dumb” bulbs the next day to use while we were there. But, the owners or property managers might want to consider having a couple packs of standard bulbs in the unit for luddites like ourselves. All in all, though, the perfect place for R & R after a tough year. Especially love that the condo was dog friendly Thanks so much for the lovely stay!

Lovely condo & fun visit

We enjoyed our stay in Palmetto Dunes! I had reserved bikes in advance, and they were conveniently waiting for us upon arrival. It was about a 10 minute bike ride to the beach, and we had a good time riding on the beach as well. The interior of the condo was nicely furnished/decorated and had everything we needed. We were a bit worried about our dog climbing the spiral stairs up to the second bedroom, but she had no problems. The upstairs bedroom doesn't have a door, so there is not much privacy for those staying there. Overall, we were pleased and would visit again!
