The beach is always great!

Overall, the view was wonderful, the beach access, right there, and the weather cooperated, so we really enjoyed ourselves. The property is appointed with everything a family needs, a bit outdated, with old appliances (rusted in places) and some unsafe chairs, but otherwise everything works OK. However, the VACASA management leaves a lot to be desired! There is no local management you can contact. God forbid, you may need something fixed! You stay on the phone forever with the answering machine, then someone from the Philippines answers - and your problem never gets solved. We didn't have TV signal for 2 days, until one of the guards from the gate took pithy on as and came in and fixed it... The VACASA technician never showed. The elevator worked on and off, so we had to go around the building, take another elevator to the 4th floor, and then go up on the stairs to the 5th floor, to our rental. Not too bad, but annoying.

Excellent location. Condo compound was wonderfully flowered with good amenities. Couple of things that did bother me. 2nd bathroom sink was clogged. Never drained from first use. Floors were beautiful but a little dirty around the edges. Toilets were low. Could use an upgrade to ADA compliance. Did enjoy our stay.

HHI Folly Field

Pictures undersell this property... took the kids (7/5) and they had a great time. Proximity and ease of access to the beach made it a breeze. Location to restaurants is perfect, didn’t feel far away from anything without the crowded feeling. I would only recommend updated seating for outside, would have loved to have sat outside in more comfortable furniture..maybe a high top to have breakfast and coffee on would have been PERFECT.. does not take away that it was still a great property.

Vow Renewal on the beach

We had the best time in Hilton Head Island. The condo was perfect! We had amazing views and the beach was only 100ft away. We were able to have our ceremony on the beach and captured the most beautiful pictures. I highly recommend this property.

Great Amenities, Great Location, Outdated Condo

Great Amenities, enjoyed the pool, enjoyed the kiddie water park. Loved how they had grills around the outside area available for use. All the beach access points had showers, and it was easy to get our wagon off and on the beach. Location is amazing, nice little private area on the beach, gentle breeze, and beautiful water, plus the WHITE SAND! However the condo itself was outdated. The furniture had lots of wear. The couch was so worn out there was barely any cushion between you and the hide-a-bed. The carpet looks pretty worn, with lots of stains. The second bedroom(not the master) had a bit of a smoke smell. The decor and the table covers look like something from the 90's. DO NOT use the toaster, it burns toast only, no matter the setting you put it on. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we'll be coming back to Island club, just staying at a different Condo next time! Thanks!

Great stay and location, but a bit confusing with regards to property management.

We had a great stay here! The property was in an amazing location with direct beach access and a great view from the balcony. The place was great for our group - two couples. The only complaint we have is with regards to how the property and booking were managed. I booked through VRBO and then was contacted by the management company - Vacasa. They wanted me to download a different app to manage the booking instead of using VRBO, which I thought was a bit of a pain. I don’t want more apps cluttering my phone. The biggest issue was with checkout time. VRBO lists checkout time at 11:00. We were getting ready to leave around 10:15 when a cleaning team started to come into our unit using the door code. They were as surprised to see me as I was to see them. They said my checkout was at 10:00. I checked again and the VRBO app said 11:00 while the Vacasa app said 10:00. Luckily we were about ready to leave anyway but this kind of discrepancy is why Id prefer to just stick with one app (VRBO) to manage my booking to avoid confusion. Only other advice I have is to bring dishwasher soap and detergent with you. They did provide three pods for each but if you’re staying longer than a few days you’ll likely need more than that. Lastly, while the balcony was excellent, the door was very difficult to open and close. It would not be possible for an elderly or disabled person to operate the door. I think it just needs some maintenance work.

Perfect view and well maintained property.

We were very pleased with our stay at this property! We were there the week of July 8th, 2019. The condo was everything as it was noted on the website. We couldn't have been happier with the overall cleanliness of the property and the location. Beautiful view and could walk directly out to the beach. Check-in process was simple and were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist who suggested a lot about the area. Would definitely return to stay at this location!
