Historic Ogle Log Cabin

The hotel was not as pictured. The pool was tiny. The breakfast area was small. Breakfast was not good. Undercooked biscuits, weird sausage patties,and watered down powered eggs. The bed was hard and the air conditioner was extremely difficult to set. It had a manual dial for temperature and was either freezing or hot. The worst part was the fire alarm going off at 10PM on Friday and none of the staff or owners,who did show up,ever came outside and told guests what was going on. There was no fire and after an extended amount of time standing in the parking lot, we just decided to go back to our room. Needless to say, we checked out a day early and went down the road to The Walden which was fantastic. Would not recommend.

Good place in Downtown. Nice people. Great pool outdoors and rooms are nice.

Great location and beautiful inside. Everything except the University grounds are in walkable distance. Behind the hotel is a public parking garage that offers very affordable rates. For us it was a perfect stay.
