Check-in process was horrible. Link sent by the mgmt company to obtain the entry code & other check-in info did not work, and no one answered the phone number provided. Took over 1/2 hr to finally be able to access unit. Listing was VERY misleading / deceptive. "End unit, steps from the beach" was actually 2nd story unit up a flight of steep wooden steps, overlooking busy street, at least 100 yards from the beach, and in a complex BEHIND an actual beachfront home. The advertised hot tub was actually INSIDE a room IN THE CARPORT, making it highly undesirable.I was traveling with my 80 yr old father who has difficulty walking and had chosen to rent this unit based on it being "steps from the beach and the water." In no photo or description did it show/indicate that the unit was on the 2nd floor, up a steep staircase, over 100 yards from a pathway to a public beach. It quickly became apparent that staying in the unit would present a safety hazard; it was way too difficult and dangerous for my father to go up and down the staircase.I informed the mgmt company through VRBO portal that we were having to evacuate the unit due to the safety hazards it presented my dad, and respectfully asked for a partial refund due to the inaccurate & deceptive nature of the listing. Received no response for 36 hrs; partial refund denied, citing photos that had not been present when I reserved the unit (had only been added AFTER I sent message). Warning to all:Avoid SkyRun Vacation Rentals!!
