« We stayed for 4 nights in Waikoloa Village on the "Sunset house". It was very confortable with everything needed to enjoy our stay: cookware, many beach chairs, boogie boards and even a beach umbrella. The beds were confortable and the house was clean. Note that there are feral cats that live in the backyard and they would sit or sleep on the patio fourniture when we were away. »

It was a great base from which to explore the Waimea area and the Northwest coast. It was driving, not walking, distance to restaurants and other touristy activities. « The cottage is nice, beautiful views, beautiful grounds to walk around in with fresh fruit to be enjoyed off the trees. The owners live next door and are absolutely lovely people with vast knowledge of the area and all the rare and unusual plants on the grounds. It is a very private area and lends to a very calm and relaxing stay. »

We did have one hiccup as the hose broke on the dishwasher and we were without water in the kitchen for two days with no dishes since they were all in the dishwasher. Our property manager, Jane, took care of it and brought us plasticware and got the problem fixed for us. We would stay there again. »

« This was our 15th FLW rental, and it certainly did not disappoint. We enjoyed the remote feel of the location, while we also appreciated that it was within easy driving distance of everything we wanted to do. We also appreciated how well appointed the kitchen was—making it easy for us to cook dinner at “home” every day. We had plenty of space, and enjoyed evenings in the hot tub. We highly recommend this property and hope to be able to return one day. »

« What a delightful stay we had in our beautifully appointed clean as a whistle VRBO on the Hamakua coast of the big island. It had absolutely everything one would need and then some (thoughtful sleep masks). Large refrigerator, washer and dryer, extremely well equipped. The fresh fruit and fresh eggs in the fridge was just a great touch.
