A little TLC would go a long way in this unit. The ice cube trays were cracked, so very hard to use. The hot water from the kitchen faucet was very cloudy, even after running for a few minutes.Master bedroom door opened when locked. Only 3 trash bags were there for an entire week.. Not enough paper towels, toilet paper, and bath towels were provided.

Lovely unit we've stayed in several times now. Great quiet location. Love the lawn area that goes right up to the water for lounging and reading. Conveniently located next door to food trucks and grocery store. We'll be back!

We could not have picked a better condo for our vacation. The view and amenities were more than I could have asked for. Our favorite part of the day was watching sunsets over the water from the property. The condo is closely located to an affordable grocery store and many good restaurants. Maui Property was a very responsive company to deal with.

Celebration with friends and family

We came to Maui to celebrate with family and friends before my daughter leaves for college in August. We rented 1 condo and our other friends rented 2 different condos. It was fun snd convenient for us to all meet up at common areas such as the pool and barbecue. The kids had a blast hanging out and playing soccer together and it felt safe for them to have a bit of freedom. We had a wonderful family vacation and would love to come back. Maui is simply beautiful and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Our stay in Maui was absolutely amazing from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by breathtaking views, warm hospitality, and that special aloha spirit that makes this island so magical.The accommodations at Papakea were perfect—comfortable, clean, and beautifully located. We woke up to the sound of waves and ended each day with the most incredible sunsets. Every detail, from the friendly service to the thoughtful amenities, made our trip feel effortless and luxurious.We explored stunning beaches, went snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and even caught a glimpse of sea turtles! The food was another highlight—fresh seafood, tropical fruits, and delicious local dishes that left us wanting more.Whether we were relaxing under the palms or adventuring through the lush landscapes, every moment in Maui was filled with joy and wonder. We can’t wait to come back and experience it all over again.

Great Location

Loved the resort and the unit was well laid out and located. The dishwasher had some issues, I don’t think it was installed properly so the door will not stay open during loading and it left dishes dirty. I thought the mattress was too soft but I know some people prefer soft style mattresses, so I could be just me. Mostly these are just tips for the owner. I appreciate the opportunity to stay here!

We have stayed at many condos in the Papakea. This was not the most well-equipped condo, but it had everything we needed for a great trip. The location on the ground floor was perfect for our family with 2 small children.

Beautiful!!!!

The property is absolutely beautiful! We loved having a 1st floor unit. The views were amazing! Pool was great. Beach was a short walk to the neighboring complex. The place had everything we needed. They provided beach towels & chairs and snorkeling gear, which was really nice!

Perfect location at the waters edge!

Words cannot describe what a beautiful and amazing location this was to relax and unwind for our family. The location is on the first floor, is steps from the water, near good food spots and near Lahaina. We enjoyed using the well equipped kitchen to prep meals, the Tommy Bahama beach chairs, the bbq grill next to the pool, and all the amenities. These owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and anticipated all our needs during our stay. I would highly recommend this rental for families with kids and people with mobility issues.

Location, location!

A lovely resort tucked away in a well-manicured, beautiful - tropical landscaped setting! H106 - our condo, staff, was totally accommodating! Great view of the grounds, Koi Pond and ocean background. Easy access to pools and recreational games. Plenty of seating, two sofas and full side chair, sat our party of five comfortably, which is not the case with most of the condos. Plus, it sleeps three in second bedroom. Win, win! We did have an issue with the high-end dryer not drying on our last night, so hope that was worked out. Also, ground floor and no bugs. Another win! Full access, brief walk to beaches and a wonderful Food Truck Court next door - delicious! Absolutely a wonderful memorable stay!!! It is Maui after all. Mahalo!

Conveniently set

Very happy with this condo. It was clean and spacious! I loved having the convenience of walking in and out of our ground floor patio. I think the master room AC didn’t stay very cool for some reason, maybe the heat from the west sun? Not sure. We love that resort, this was our second trip there.

Family vacation

We enjoyed the property for the most part. Great view and cool amenities for a condo community. The place needs a little updating and cleaning. Air vents dusty , sand and dirt from previous people on the floor. The management group was responsive in getting some more things we needed. There were 3 coffee mugs and there was 5 of us. There are 3 beach chairs , and an incomplete snorkeling set so we bought our own. Just little things that need to be checked on after tenants.

Perfect Resort in Paradise

Our Resort proved to be nothing less than spectacular. Situated seconds from the ocean with wonderful views, the property was outstanding. A short walk from the Resort found supermarkets, restaurants, food trucks, more beaches, and many other amenities.

Loved Papakea....condo needs a little love

This is a great location. Walking distance to so many things. Our condo was fine and we were in Hawaii so that made everything manageable!!!There was a good amount of space in main room, but we found a few things problematic in condo. Thankfully when the A/C unit wasn't working, they had someone out to fix it a few days later and were helpful to bring some extra towels and cleaning supplies when it leaked all over our clothes in the dresser. Unfortunately the washing machine was FULL of mold, so even the clean clothes weren't really getting clean. The dishwasher didn't clean dishes and the detergent pods provided didn't work so we did most dishes by hand. The back bedroom was not as spacious as it looked in pictures and there was no place for the kids to put their clothes. The closet was full of a dresser that didn't open and it just took up space where suitcases could have gone. We were told we could take the doors off but didn't want to deal with how to do it or where to store them since there was no extra room. Property managers were nice and brought extra towels, but we were offered no other compensation which was a bummer.

This was a lovely ground floor unit with lanai right near the Koi pond with a small view directly to the ocean through the palm trees. Large master bedroom and then a smaller 2nd bedroom that was great for kids. A great resort with Two pools and hot tubs, covered community Lanai to sit at if raining to still view the ocean! Will stay here again next year

Disappointed, not as advertised

We have been to this resort many times, but this time we were disappointed and upset. This was first time ever we paid the most, but got the worst unit. As soon as we walked the unit was poorly cleaned, we found bottles under the couch, dust and floors were filthy first thing we did moped and washed the floors - and let me tell you cleaning fee is not cheap… the faucet was leaking, there was a blue bowls under to collect water, pots and pens poor quality and rusty, for the fees taxes and rental it’s more then affordable to go to Ross and purchase some brand new kitchen utensils, which in fact we did. Air conditioner in master bedroom leaking water, our clothes got soaking wet. The faucet in master bedroom leaking. The most uncomfortable mattress pad in master bedroom. The pictures were the best quality, super clean and cozy, next time be honest rather then saying fully remodeled… thankful for free sunsets, views and fresh air we got to enjoy from the outside. But the unit deserves some much needed love
