Royal Kuhio se trouve au cƓur de Waikiki, Ă  quelques pas de plus de 100 boutiques, restaurants et divertissements, ainsi que de l’International Market Place, du centre commercial Royal Hawaiian et de Duty-Free T-Galleria. Juste au-delĂ  se trouve la cĂ©lĂšbre plage de Waikiki, idĂ©ale pour surfer, nager ou se dĂ©tendre au soleil.

Épicerie - Food Pantry sur Kuhio Ave: À 2 pĂątĂ©s de maisons de Waikiki, vous trouverez une Ă©picerie complĂšte oĂč vous pouvez pratiquement tout acheter - viandes / fruits de mer / fruits frais / boissons / pĂątisseries / vĂȘtements de natation et plus!

Transport - L'arrĂȘt de bus est juste en face de l'immeuble. La station de vĂ©los partagĂ©e "Biki" se trouve Ă©galement sur le cĂŽtĂ© du bĂątiment. Enterprise Rent-A-Car propose un service de location de voiture Ă  Island Colony, situĂ© Ă  un pĂątĂ© de maisons.

CafĂ©s et autres magasins - McDonald’s et Starbucks Coffee sont situĂ©s en face de la rue. 9 Day Stay in Paradise

My fiancĂ© and I had invited my brother and his girlfriend to come to Oahu on vacation with us. After our initial booking cancelled last minute, we found this for less than our previous booking and quickly grabbed it the day before we flew out. We arrived in Oahu from Canada and found the location easy to find and PERFECTLY located, the location truly couldn’t be beat. Even for the convenience of the McDonald’s across the street and tons of tasty, reasonable priced eats located nearby. We had a vehicle to use, but public transit was accessible and fairly priced. The condo itself is fairly simple, but had all of the conveniences and utilities we desired. We loved having the option to close the room divider for privacy and having a full kitchen in our room saved us money allowing us to cook breakfast, pack picnic lunches, etc. We even utilized the shared BBQs by the pool to make nachos one night which was so fun! The pool has plenty of lounge chairs and was nice to enjoy on our rainy evening. We also made use of the laundry facilities and found them to be clean and effective. We loved the view of the ocean and the covered Lānai that allowed us to watch the ocean even during our one rainy day. We did encounter a few small cockroaches crawling near the cupboards during our initial few days, but we were able to quickly kill them and didn’t have any encounters our last week, so we feel they may have just tried to enter the condo during a few days of being empty. Lovely stay!!

Disappointment!

We were appalled at the lack of cleanliness when we arrived! The kitchen and bathroom floors were dirty and had not even been swept (crumbs and macaroni in the kitchen, hair and dust in the bathroom). The bathroom sink had mould under the faucet. There wasn't any bedding for the hideabed. One of the beds had a small size flat sheet instead of a proper size fitted sheet. Supplies were very limited considering we had booked for 19 days. One small hotel size bar of soap, 2 rolls of toilet paper, 3 garbage bags and no cleaning supplies. The kitchen was also very poorly stocked. Not enough of various items. Only 2 wine glasses, one of which was badly cracked, 2 forks, 3 plates, no plastic storage containers, no dish cloths, one tea towel, no stopper for the kitchen sink. The slicing knives were very dull. There was only 1 electrical outlet in the kitchen, thereby necessitating unplugging to alternate between using the microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Another huge disappointment was that the pool renovation had not been completed. When we made our reservation the completion date was 2 months before our arrival. We like the location and have stayed in other units in this building and have not previously been disappointed. Although the units were older and not updated they were very clean and well equipped. The lobby, elevators and hallways were always very well maintained and clean.

PROS: ‱ AMAZING location! 5 min walk to the main beach, restaurants, convenience stores and the main high end shopping strip! ‱ Bus stops are in front of the hotel for easy access to tourist places including Diamond Head Hike, Ala Moana Centre and Pearl Harbor! ‱ Wifi is good quality ‱ Size of room is enough for 4 people to sleep CONS: ‱ Some cockroaches & bugs that have been found running inside the kitchen utensil drawers, therefore place feels unclean ‱ Air con is too loud and disrupts your sleep ‱ Mattresses are too hard & uncomfortable for those that are soft bed sleepers ‱ Not enough refills for toiletries including complementary shampoo, conditioner and soap ‱ 7th floor gym & pool is under renovation so entertainment areas seem limited

Perfect location near Wakiki

Short walk to everything including beach, shopping, and many nice restaurants. Nice view from the unit. Clean room and convenient (the parking option is very useful for our rental car). The kitchen can be better stocked and we have to buy basics such as salt, pepper, paper products and so on to make basic meals. There is a Safeway not too far away but not sure how to get there without driving. The checkin code was wrong and fortunately got fixed quickly, but it took some back-and-forth.

This suite needs some TLC. 1. Carpet needs to be cleaned - there are spots in front of the door and sofa. 2. Kitchen and bathroom floors need a thorough scrubbing - there are food crumbs between the fridge and cupboards as well as the dresser in the living room needs to be moved so that the carpet can be cleaned. I am not sure how much time your cleaning people have and what they are expected to do. 3. The caulking around the tub is very "discolored" and we were concerned about black mold so we bought some Clorox wipes and wiped around the caulking and the floor. The tub takes 20 minutes to drain and the shower curtain is filthy 4. The window and patio door could also use a cleaning. 5. One of the legs on the bed nearest the window is broken ...looks like the roller has broken off of the frame. The supplies in this suite are extremely minimal: 1. Only one kitchen towel and no paper towels. Toilet paper only lasted 4 days. 2. Kitchenware - only 3 large plates, 2 forks - rest of the dishes were suitable. Could use a egg flipper. Appliances were good. 3. There is no dishpan for washing dishes! I used the largest pot which I found under the sink - obviously other guests have used that as well. 4. Cleaning supplies and garbage bags would be nice to have. There were only 2 in the bathroom and 4 in the kitchen ... we thought with the possible "pest" problems it was advisable to take out the garbage every day When we booked this condo last summer we assumed from the pictures and description there would be a pool...then we got an email in December saying there was a pool closure and we could not cancel our reservation for this reason. I have talked to other residents here who have been here in the past . One person said that the "pool closure" and renovation project has been going on for 3 years! On a positive note : The newer kitchen cupboards and bathroom vanity are very nice, the beds are comfortable, and the location of this building is good.

Good Location

The location was great for us. Just a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. They offer parking for a reasonable fee, but it must be arranged for ahead of time. The condo was a bit disappointing to me. As mentioned in previous reviews, the carpet was dirty (way past needed to be replaced, in my opinion). The pool was closed when we were there, and no one warned us that it would not be available. This was a big surprise/disappointment to us. There were no beach towels. The air conditioner was VERY loud. The kitchenware was sparse— if you wanted to serve a meal for 4 people, you wouldn’t have enough plates/cups, etc. If your want a great location and won’t be spending much time in the condo, this could be a good place for you. If you like having a comfortable room, you may want look elsewhere.

Instructions were not clear on how we’re going to get the keys. There was one line that we had to call that wasn’t working. We had to call a different line eventually they picked up but then stress in Rosedale not clear on how we get the keys. When we arrived the apartment had cockroaches which is disgusting. I highly don’t appreciate the fact that they are charging me an arm and a leg for a loft with two beds but has cockroaches. I could have stayed at the Marriott if I wanted to but my mom wanted a kitchen so she can cook her own meals. I don’t like the fact that they charge us a cleaning fee when we have to take our own trashes and clean after self. We don’t have room service or someone cleaning around on the daily. Also we didn’t have any extra toilet paper or napkins any napkins at all and no trash bags we just have the one trash bag for the little trashcan which is not even enough for a five-day stay. I highly don’t recommend this place do not stay here unless you wanna take cockroaches home and pay for extra stuff that you should already have available to you if you’re staying somewhere for four days plus. I think they should’ve had enough toilet paper is for us enough napkins in the kitchen for us and enough trashbags for us. I also think that they need to get rid of the cockroaches because if the cockroaches were to follow me home I would definitely sue this place for any maintenance I need to do.

We spent a week in our VRBO and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was well appointed with appliances, utensils and dishes, although a couple of useful items were missing (measuring cups and spoons). One only has to walk two blocks to the Food Pantry to secure essentials like paper towels, napkins and facial tissue (none provided). The unit faces east and gets quite warm during the day, in spite of the window air conditioning. The window dressings only partially block sunlight from coming in, thus contributing to the heat in the unit during the day. The beds are very nice (I like a firm mattress), however, in order to split the unit, utilizing the accordion room divider wall, into an actual bedroom and living room (or second bedroom courtesy of the hideabed couch) the occupants of the bedroom are cut off from the air conditioning. Wifi connectivity is excellent and aside from a paper tv channel guide, the available tv channels are extensive. I WOULD stay here again, even with the minor items I’ve noted.
