Faites du kayak et nagez depuis votre propre quai privé, faites griller des guimauves dans votre foyer, ou sirotez un chocolat chaud au coin du feu. Les possibilités sont infinies! Des gilets de sauvetage pour les nourrissons et les adultes sont fournis. Cette maison offre une cuisine bien garnie et récemment mise à niveau avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin, il vous suffit de fournir la nourriture! La maison comprend laveuse / sécheuse, barbecue de luxe, foyer et brochettes pour faire griller des guimauves, téléphone fixe (Remarque: pas de téléphone portable ou Internet à la disposition de la propriété) chaise haute, lit bébé, jeux de société à gogo, téléviseur grand écran avec son surround, DVD collection, et une sélection généreuse de livres et de jouets pour enfants. (Remarque: en raison de son emplacement éloigné et de sa ligne de crête, les services par satellite, la télévision par câble, les vidéos en streaming, Internet et les réseaux cellulaires ne sont pas disponibles à la propriété pour le moment. Cette maison peut accueillir confortablement 8 à 10 personnes entre les 3 chambres à coucher et deux canapés-lits extra confortables. La chambre principale offre une vue imprenable sur le lac. Elle comprend un lit king-size en coton biologique et une salle de bains privative. L'étage principal comprend deux chambres et une salle de bain complète supplémentaire: deux ensembles de lits superposés en coton biologique US Grown dans une chambre et une autre chambre décorée avec goût avec un lit queen-size. Deux canapés-lits gigognes gigognes dans le salon sont dotés de luxueux matelas hypoallergéniques, à ressorts / gonflables, sans matelas moelleux ici! Amazing place!

This property is absolutely amazing. The view of Lake Cushman, the quiet, the lake access. All of it is top tier. When we travel, we pick the place based on the view and access to the water, not too much on the amenities (except when we travel to warmer climates we always make sure there is AC). That being said, this property has literally anything you need. We took advantage of the toaster oven, gas oven & range, the blackstone grill, washer/dryer, literally all of it. The showers were great as well. The communication from Kim, the property manager, was amazing as well. Prior to our check in, she let us know of a minor issue that came up from the previous renters, which was appreciated. We had myself, my wife and 5 of our 6 kids stay and the property and it handled our family with ease. The kayaks were a big hit with the kids too!Should we come back to this part of the country, we will absolutely stay at the Samara Lake House again! Highly recommend!

Beautiful house nestled on a very quiet lake. House was well appointed and very clean. My family enjoyed kayaking around the lake and spending time out on the deck. Manager was able to provide some suggestions for hiking in the area due to the closure of the Staircase area from the forest fire.

Amazing property; such a great view! It has it's own dock with kayaks, but there is also a pass to visit the private beaches. There are plenty of kitchen appliances and tools to make cooking such a breeze. The rest of the house is full of great amenities for all ages (games, toys, books, rock painting and other crafts). There is a Blackstone griddle on the deck, but it would need a grinder and multiple layers of seasoning before I would consider using it. It's not even close to being a deal breaker, but in case you see it in the photos, consider this your heads up. We ate every meal outside on the deck and soaked in the lake life. Our whole family loved the trip and we look forward to coming back repeatedly.

Amazing Views

I don't think you can beat the view you have from this home in any property. We've stayed at a lot of homes over the years, but this was the best view. Lake Cushman and Mt. Olympic are stunning from the main living space and deck. The home had all that you would need for a comfortable stay and plenty of space. My only complaint is that the beds in the rooms had extremely stiff mattresses and the downstairs bed frame was so creaky, if you moved during the night it would make noise and wake your significant other up. The thing we didn't quite anticipate accessing the property. The driveway is steep and downhill with other properties utilizing the same small driveway. We had two large vehicles and navigating the space was challenging. I can't imagine accessing the property in the winter or in challenging weather. The property is also slightly farther from Hoodsport than I had anticipated. That's not a big deal, but I want others to know. We took a day trip to Lake Quinault and another day trip to Port Angeles. Both were fair drives, but this was a nice midpoint to work from. Other things we checked out were the High Steel Bridge and the Staircase path. Overall, this was a nice place to stay that I would recommend.

The only vacation rental we’ve rented more than once as we like trying new places. However this locale and the views from this home are unbeatable. Had a great time with the kayaks on site too.

Thanksgiving Get-Away

We finally had a "destination Thanksgiving" and this property definitely delivered the peaceful and serene setting we were hoping for. Instead of a "Black Friday" shopping rush, we decided to walk along the river and follow the staircase trail. The sound of rushing water, falls, and rapids sure beat the sounds of a typical Black Friday in the shopping centers. We certainly enjoyed the house, views, and location. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Relaxing family trip

We had such an amazing stay, we didn’t want to leave. The house is beautiful, the stairs down to the water are so convenient. Everything we needed to have a fun and relaxing time was there. Our 2 young kids (ages 1.5 and 3.5) loved all The toys in the bunk room, they had so much fun in the lake, our 3 year old got a lot of use out of the trampoline. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the beautiful view and sunsets.

Great views in a cozy spot

We spent the last week of summer here and it was fantastic. The house had everything we needed and tons of activities for kids/adults to just chill by the lake. We took kayaks out with beautiful mountain views. There is so much to do in the surrounding area I could stay here for a long time. Would definitely stay here again.

A little slice of Heaven

This was an incredible vacation rental. The location and view couldn’t be beat, house was clean and comfortable. I loved how it’d transform from a fun, summer lake house to a peaceful evening retreat, to a cozy cabin at night. The steps to the dock weren’t as intimidating as we’d imagined. :) The only thing I’d do differently is book a longer stay. We hope to be back!

Summer on the Lake

Such a well appointed home—clean, spacious, all the tools you could ever need in the kitchen. Such a gorgeous view from the huge deck. Our kids were thrilled with the bunk room. So many extras from games to books and movies for downtime. The trampoline was quite a bonus. Had a great time kayaking from the dock. Definitely will return next summer.

Overall excellent family trip here. We couldn't get enough of the view and spent a ton of time out on the deck. Massive toy selection for kids in the closet, and tons of books and games around the house for added fun.

A great house and view for miles

Overall we loved the house and the surrounding area. So many adventures to be had! The dock was great for time on the water and the kitchen was well-equipped. I would recommend this property to others! Our only negatives were not having a land-line to provide to emergency contacts since the internet was iffy, and some of the dishes in the cabinets were not clean upon our arrival. A suggestion would be to have some plastic cups for use outside!

Great Lake Long Weekend

We had a great stay here. The views from the deck are wonderful. It’s about 100 steps down to the lake with a dock for swimming and kayaking. A short drive away there’s a nice beach. Trails are also a short drive away, but no trails within walking distance. There were tons of toys for our kids to enjoy and the kitchen was well stocked.

Best decision ever!

The property was absolutely perfect for us and had everything we needed for our family of five to stay comfortably for a week in early summer. The view of the lake is stunning and we never got tired of looking out the windows. We seriously did not want to leave. If you're looking for a high-end posh upscale property then you'll want to look elsewhere. This house feels like a home rather than a showroom, where you can feel comfortable sitting on the furniture after spending the day exploring Olympic national park or kayaking or swimming in the lake. A couple of things to note about the property. First, it shares a narrow driveway with a couple of other homes on the lake. So you have to go slow and look ahead to make sure there's no car coming in the other direction. We spent a week here and never saw another car on the drive, so it was never an issue for us. Once you're on the property, it feels like you are completely secluded from everyone else. Second thing to know is that the house is on a septic system and the owners provide environmentally friendly soaps, shampoos, conditioners, etc. So no need to bring your own! We've rented many VRBO homes over the years from Maine to Washington and I think that this home is probably one of the very best, if not the best, that we've stayed in. I honestly wouldn't even look at other properties if I were staying in the area again. My family and I would be absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to stay here again.

Excellent location with amenities

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Samara Lake House. It was well-equipped for everything we needed, including for the kids. The property manager was a great communicator and prompt in answering questions. Some minor drawbacks: The Wi-Fi would only allow three devices on at a time, and cell service was not an option. The upstairs master suite didn't seem to have any windows that opened, so heat stayed there on hot days. The suite had a ceiling and tower fan, making it work. Overall, we'd stay there again. Thanks for the excellent lake experience!

Family vacation

After some miscommunication about never receiving the code to enter the property and then, not receiving a return message from the host for quite a while, our stay was wonderful. The location, setting and house itself was beautiful. Beautiful. Was exactly what our family was looking for. The house had many amenities and was well appointed and well stocked with toys, bedding, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items. Items. We would definitely consider staying here again if we are ever out that way.

You won’t want to leave!

What an amazing VRBO. Lake Cushman is absolutely beautiful and this house is designed to showcase the beauty of the area. Tons of things to do in the house, arts and crafts, tons of DVDs, walking sticks, umbrellas, even a rain jacket and robes. We loved having access to the kayaks (bring proper gear as the water is very cold), the kitchen is all upgraded with very nice appliances as with the bathrooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we had a lot of fun with the Blackstone (although it needed a heavy cleaning which we performed before use). We spent every evening above 40* outside on the deck watching the sun set behind the mountains. Lots of cool stuff to do in the area, too. We hope to be back.

My friends and I LOVED everything about this property: Al the way down to the limited Wi-Fi. Access to the internet is there but to stream on the tv or anything to send only one device could use it at a time. This made us enjoy the location and view that much more. Bathrooms were beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed including coffee/espresso and cocktail shakers. We had to buy ice and that was it. I will say with it being so close to the filming location I wish they had the Twilight Movies on DVD. They had cute touches like painting a rock to leave by fireplace and writing notes to read from others who stayed. Loved it, made it homie right from the beginning! I can’t wait to return and stay again with family in the future for the summer season

Winter retreat

Such an amazing house! The view is incredible, the house is beautiful, and the owners were exceptionally kind when weather impacted our travel plans. Communication with the host was very quick and the house was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed and we hope to be back again soon!

Spectacular View

Moving clouds, changing light, and reflections on the water created breathtaking views of the mountains and lake from the living area and large deck. The home itself was clean, comfortable, modern, and well-appointed. Hoodsport restaurants aren’t great; so plan to drive a bit for a good meal or plan to cook in the nice clean kitchen.

Beautiful and serene, even in the rain

I booked a solo vacation for a few days to paint and get away from the city. To my dismay, the weather took a turn the week before my trip and I spent the first few days watching the rain from inside. Fortunately, this home has the COZIEST couches and one of the most gorgeous views I've ever had the pleasure of waking up to. Very quiet neighborhood and clear instructions for check in/out. Cell service was very poor in the area, so you might want to download a map of where you're going beforehand. Hoodsport, the nearest town, was great for amenities and some of the cheapest gas I've seen in WA. Gorgeous drive, can't recommend this stay enough!
