« Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. There is a bit of noise from the highway up above the property, but really only in front of the house. The babbling creek was what was heard from the house and back area over the creek. There is also an open area just steps from the front door to walk dogs, too. The kitchen was very well stocked! The host was responsive...

« Very special quiet retreat. I loved the setting: a beautiful meadow surrounded by mountains. The Dosewallips is a short walk away and you can hear it from the cabin. The cabin is adorable and not small, with plenty of space for yoga. The bed was comfy, the outhouse incredibly clean. I hope to return. »

« The best! Our family stayed over Labor Day weekend and would ABSOLUTELY return. The lakefront house was a dream. The house was clean and had everything we needed. « The view is outstanding and the house is clean and comfortable. Everything worked fine (we didn't use the sauna). Be aware that there are several sets of stairs to access the beach, and the side road to access the house from Hwy 101 is a bit dicey. The neighborhood is quiet, and you are only a short walk away from Dosewallips State Park, the Geoduck Bar and Grill, and the Halfway House Restaurant (which was very good). Thank you, Beverly, for sharing your home with us. »
