« If you want something really special in the doorstep of Wilpattu National Park, this is your answer. Our deluxe tree house suite was literally in the trees ( warning about monkeys visiting your balcony). Sampath was amazing in offering, preparing and presenting wonderful meals. What a treasure he is. Shehan was so helpful, with luggage and anything else that we wanted. Nelson was always there to greet and say goodbye. If you are afraid of bugs and lizards, don't stay in the treehouse rooms. But,...

« Super experience a Big Game.

« Very generous space, and lovely staff. Place is a bit more dated than the photos show but still lovely to stay in. »

« I just stayed one night but was super well and kindly looked after by Christopher and the team. The area is a little more remote than I realised so worth planning ahead for that, but it's really peaceful and full of wildlife – 100% worth venturing out for! The villas are really nicely done up, modern and super comfortable. Definitely recommend as an excellent nature base. »

« Quality hotel with spacious and well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. Lovely pool but it opened too late for us to be able to use it. We organised a day safari via the hotel, it’s a handy 15 minute drive to the park entrance. Good food in the restaurant, friendly and polite service from all the hotel team. »

« We had an amazing stay here, it really does add to the whole safari experience as you feel completely out in the middle of the jungle. One night at dinner we even heard the warning call of deer nearby that the staff told us meant a leopard was near too, truly a once in a lifetime dining experience. With this being more of a glamping like experience you do need to be prepared to have some bugs in the room. The bathrooms are also a little bit rough and ready with some signs of wear but again...

« Staff are really friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10 One of the best places to enjoy your holiday. If you're going to wilpatthu safari you can have your stay there before the day your safari. »

« Personnel aux petits soins, le cadre dans la nature est top »

« Nice, clean and comfortable place to stay, right next to the ancient city for Anuradhapura. »

« This is an unique place to be! Such lovely people, you feel overwhelmed with kindness and hospitallity! And a chance to go to Willpathu N.P. We were there for 2 nights and will never forget our stay with these lovely people! And they make you tradditional food and snacks... An unique experience! »

« Part of this hotel is under renovation. Improvements are being made but the service is excellent as provided by Dilan, the owner. This hotel has a huge lake right behind it and it is sanctuary to wild life. Very quiet and peaceful. I strongly recommend it. »

« This is a primitive camping site. Yes the tent is large and there is an outdoor toilet and shower which is delightful but this is still just a camp site. No other facilities. There is no A/C and it can get quite hot in the tent. We had a wonderful candle lit dinner by the chef who also lit us a fire which was beautiful under the stars. Some holes in the tent need to be fixed due to mosquitos. »

« Hôtel bien placé pour safari à Wilpatu, le safari était super avec un guide très attentif et qui a su nous montrer beaucoup d animaux et oiseaux en prenant bien le temps. Une coupure de courant le soir, le personnel a tout fait pour rétablir au plus vite. Le gérant de l hôtel propose ses services de chauffeur pour des prix correct, très arrangeant. »

« Location to national park was great. The rooms were very ‘unique’ and rustic. The property would have been great in its heyday however appeared quite rundown and needed a good clean. A good Garden and grounds clean up would not go astray. »

« The pictures are deceiving. Positive thing is that the room is spacious and AC is fantastic. Everything else is something to criticize on. I.e a ton of mosquitos, washroom is full of stains, the doors to the bathroom doesn’t close properly making mosquitos to fly into the room through the bathroom. The bed had mattress cover but no blankets whatsoever and had to explicitly request one, which showed up as if a few cats picked a fight in it. »
