AMAZING property, fantastic host, room for the entire family. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming. Close to so many actives in the area. The furnishings and decor are beautiful with that vacation cabin feel. The beds are VERY comfortable, good hot water for showers, plenty of towels, and I could go on and on!! We will be back and I would recommend this place to everyone!

Family time

The property offered everything we needed for a relaxing Thanksgiving week of family time. The rooms were comfortable. The view was beautiful. The fishing was not plentiful, but we knew it would be slim due to the decrease in water level. We still caught a perch or two every time we went out. There seems to be a cat that wonders the neighborhood, but it was super friendly. We would love to go back.

Amazing Lakehouse

Our family had a great time at this property! It left nothing to be desired and was steps away from the water(no big hills to navigate!). Super clean and cozy. We all were blown away by how nice everything was. The beds, the showers, the furniture(especially on the patio and deck), the tiki hut by the water, tons of cookware, the complimentary oversized towels for the lake, the really cool gift basket…I could go on and on. Samaria checked on us regularly to make sure we were good. I haven’t stayed a ton of places but definitely my personal best experience on VRBO.

A wonderful July 4th stay!

We stayed at Mac’s Cabin for 4 nights and 5 days for the July 4th holiday and it was absolutely wonderful! The home itself is beautiful and the location on the lake puts you right on the water and in the perfect lake spot for skiing and tubing. We had 11 adults/older teens in our group and were comfortable the entire time. We also rented a boat from a separate marina for 2 days and was able to dock it at the property overnight with ease. Very close to town and amenities. We will definitely plan to stay here again.

Amazing!

This cabin is beautifully decorated without one detail missed! Kitchen was well stocked with every utensil and item we needed. The linens, pillows and mattresses were incredibly comfortable. We grilled on the deck one evening and cooked some great meals on the kitchen. We enjoyed lots of relaxation on the deck watching the lake activity and wildlife. We would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful Home, Fantastic Location, but NO HOT WATER

The house is beautiful, and right on the water. Our group had a lot of fun with the kayaks and paddleboards on the water. There are not 5 bedrooms as indicated in the title of the listing, only 4, with a sofa bed in the living room. Samaria left us a sweet gift basket of snacks and goodies prior to our arrival. It was a nice gesture. Overall I would rate this property very highly and would recommend it to others. Except for the hot water issue - it started out inadequate and then dropped to nothing. At first it just took a long time for any hot water to reach any of the sinks or showers. And I mean a long time. On afternoon before we checked out, the water went out entirely. We thought maybe running the dishwasher and a load of laundry and a shower in succession were to much for the water heater, so we gave it some time to recharge. After 90 minutes, there was still no hot water. Samaria does not live close by and does not have anyone who could come by to fix the issue. We offered to look to see if a breaker was tripped. Samaria allowed us access to the electrical panel to see if that was the problem. It would have been such an easy fix. But it did not solve the issue. After some time, Samaria just told me "Good night." Well, it wasn't a good night. We had 3 kids and 8 adults who spent a day on the lake and needed to clean up before flights the next day. But we had no hot water and Samaria did nothing to resolve the issue.

The View!

This home ended up being the most perfect fit for our large group of nine for the week of Thanksgiving- two families, 4 teens, and 1 mother-in-law. First of all, THAT VIEW out the windows onto the lake!! I couldn't wait to wake up each morning and open the blinds. Gorgeous! Upon arrival, we were wowed by the thoughtful, generous welcome basket and craft beers which we enjoyed during our stay. The home itself is so beautiful with a great layout. The butler's pantry and the regular pantry provided great storage space. We have stayed at lots of homes, and this one by far was the most well-stocked...spices, utensils, plates, drinking glasses, pots, pans, koozies, plastic ware for leftovers, and more. Our large group loves to cook instead of eating out, so this was huge for us. We enjoyed the cool evenings sitting by the fire outside and loved watching all the football games on the large TV in the living area. The teens spent hours in the yard throwing the football, and the ladies enjoyed walks in the neighborhood. The bunkroom was perfect for the teens. Beds were comfy with lots of layers to keep us warm. We don't have one bad thing to say about our time there. We talked about trying to stay in the summer time to take advantage of the warm weather and lake activities.All were thoroughly impressed with every single thing. Such a lovely place. My fantasy football league stayed here for 3 days and had such a blast in the water, playing cornhole, tubing, and skiing. The master bedroom was fantastic because one morning at 5 am we had a huge thunderstorm that I was able to enjoy watching through the large windows facing the water.

Beautiful home and great time there!

From the minute we walked into this home we felt like we were home. If you think the pictures look great, wait until you see it in person. Our family of 5 with our kids being ages 21-25 and two of their friends also stayed here. There was plenty of room for everyone and I loved how the dining room table was big enough for us to eat meals and play games. The deck was cozy to drink morning coffee and cocktails at night. The bar by the dock was very useful so we didn’t have to walk back and forth to the house. There was even a cooler provided so we could take it on the boat we rented. I could go on and on how great this property is. Samaria was great communicating with us and checking in to see if we needed anything. Which we didn’t because the house already provided everything we could possibly need. The welcome basket she left for us was so thoughtful and much appreciated. Great stay and will definitely be back!!

A Blissful Lakeside Retreat: Unforgettable Family Fun!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning lakefront property with my family, and I cannot emphasize enough how incredible our experience was. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the breathtaking views and warm hospitality of the place. The house itself was an absolute gem. Spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated, it offered a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. Our family had ample space to spread out and relax, thanks to the well-designed layout of the property. The fully equipped kitchen was a dream for preparing family meals, and we loved dining together while enjoying the picturesque scenery just beyond our plates. The cozy living area was perfect for bonding over board games and sharing laughter, and Netflix.. 😊But the real highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the outdoor space. The property had direct access to the lake, and we made the most of it! We spent countless hours swimming & tubing. The kids were absolutely thrilled! The outside Bar was a great spot to watch the kids swim while enjoying an adult beverage. Another aspect that stood out was the exceptional service from the property's management. They were attentive, responsive, and the welcome basket was so thoughtful and personalized for our family! What a Treat! In conclusion, our stay at this lakefront property was a dream come true. It ticked all the boxes for a perfect family getaway. We will surely be back for more cherished moments in the future!

We stayed at this property right on the water for a family reunion weekend. The kids had a great time in the bunk room and swimming right off the dock with swim ladder. The outdoor areas are phenomenal-deck, fire pit and outdoor dining. The backyard was level and landscaped beautifully. Interior was attractive and upscale.

Amazing Stay!

This was our first family vacation to include multiple families. It’s was absolutely amazing! The home believe it or not was even more beautiful in person than the pictures! Everything was perfect and the thoughtful touches that were found throughout the home wonderful! I cannot recommend this property enough.

Fabulous Lake Home; Perfect family vacation!

This lake home was ideal for our family vacation. It's location on the lake and proximity to amenities was perfect. The home was clean and had everything we needed for our large family. We loved how the living room and the deck had such great views. The fire pit and welcome basket were extra nice. We will be back to stay again in the future. Thanks for everything.
