„We had 5 adults and 3 children staying at the Bach. We all loved it. The location was fabulous for us as we visited the beach (and the estuary) often, and it was less than a 5 minute walk. The street and area generally felt very safe and family friendly, and it was nice and peaceful at the house. The house was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Lovely location, away from the hustle and bustle of "Whiti City" but only a short drive away if you want to eat out or top up your supplies. „Wharekaho is a beautiful quiet place, just a stones throw from the 'bustling' town of Whitianga. Its a lovely community and all that can be heard at night are the Ruru and the waves. The bach is quaint and has everything you need. The epitome of a Kiwi holiday. The downstairs bunk bedroom area seems to have been though an upheaval and was very dusty with a rough concrete floor. Toilette und Badewanne waren nicht sauber, es gab nur ein Badehandtuch für drei Personen und im Geschirrspüler stand das muffige Geschirr vom Vorgänger. Außerdem war im Wäschetrockner noch Wäsche. Auf unsere Nachrichten über den vorgefundenen Zustand haben wir bis heute keine Antworten erhalten.“
