This hotel is very nice and I will be staying again. The front desk including Javier and Doc were very polite and helpful. I have stayed at several hotels in my time and this place has it figured out. From the front desk, to the waitress at the restaurant, shuttle driver and security guard. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone in the area or anyone with a loved one visiting the Houston medical center. Keep up the good work!

The parking situation is atrocious! You’re charged for parking yet there isn’t enough spaces in the parking lot. The staff said we just needed to go drive to the back side of the hotel where there is a parking garage and then get reimbursed!! Unacceptable! With the money you charge for parking, you may want to hire valet service and they can drive to the parking garage! Because of this I will not be staying here again!

Deanna, I greatly apologize for the inconvenience the parking situation has caused. I understand that it can be frustrating, but we do try our best to accommodate all of our guests. I wish that you would reconsider and give us a chance to make things right during your next visit to Houston.

Not a good check-in experience. The room i reserved wasn't ready at check-in time. After 15 minutes of the agent being on the phone be finally downgraded me

They upgraded me to a suite due to small children trying to open the adjoining room door when I was asleep and were very loud. Multiple complaints from other guests came thru from another room so they apologized and put me in an amazing room. Staff was amazing.

A personal item of mine was removed from inside my suitcase and broken. The bathtub had hair in it from a previous guest. The bed sheets were not clean. Parking was $20 a night and we were unaware of. The only good thing about the stay was a buffet breakfast and the transportation.

Easy Check in. Property was safe. Transportation choices were great for HLS and Rodeo. Would Recommend for Events at NRG Stadium. Sits in the Middle of the Houston Medical Center.

The property knew we would arrive late.When we arrived it took 30 minutes for them to get us checked in. We finally made it to our room around 11:30 pm. The room was nothing like what I had chosen. I intentionally chose a suite that had a separate living area bc I was going to be having surgery at MD Anderson and would be staying 4 nights. Our room had no living area, only a small kitchen table with 2 chairs. The kitchen area had a stove that was so dirty you could actually write your name in the dirt. The bathroom had been recent renovated but the staff failed to explain that the shower only worked if you lifted the whole bath water spout up. When I went back downstairs to speak with the staff & manager and show them the picture of the suite I had booked through Expedia, they blamed the mishap on Expedia. When I demanded another room, I was told they had no other rooms available. By this time it was midnight and we were exhausted and I had early appointments the next morning. We chose to stay the night and they would move us the next day. I went straight up to the room and booked another hotel (Blossom Hotel) through Expedia and we checked out the next morning. I was told by the manager on duty that morning that she had just brought this up in their staff meeting that Doubletree needed to supply booking sites current pictures of the rooms they offered. She was apologetic and said she would refund me for the remaining 3 nights. We moved to the Blossom Hotel and enjoyed our st
