« All was good except for a minor mix up regarding the lockbox. We had been mailed the wrong code, and it took a while on the phone to correct. The facilities were good and looked quite new. The bath/shower was good, although the bath is rather high off the floor (as so often in renovated houses) and although our family did not mind, it might not suit a frail elderly visitor with limited mobility. »

« Beautiful traditional upscale home lovingly decorated with antiques, overstuffed chairs and sofas pillows artwork and loads of family photos and books. A truly stunning garden with a mill stream running through it, a Monet-worthy footbridge across is and a plethora of perennials artfully planted across the landscape. If you like sterile, this is not for you. If you want to sink into another world and be surrounded by a sense of being a houseguest of a gracious host, then do come and stay here....

« What a beautiful house and fab hosts! We rented the cottage for my sister's hen do and it could not have been more perfect for what we had planned. The space inside and out was brilliant for a group and Charlie and Kitkat were really helpful in the lead up and during our stay. « Our family enjoyed our stay here very much. The hosts were incredible: they responded quickly, in both word and action, to all our questions and concerns. They were wonderful to deal with.The house is on a quiet street just west of downtown Oxford. For us, the location was perfect. There are quiet tree-lined walking paths virtually steps from the front door, as well as a large park/play area for children.There is a grocery store (Waitrose) about 100 metres away, which was great.
