It was fine, the main area and location of the house was nice. No cleaning responsibilities, which also nice. Management was responsive. However the house had quite a few flaws for 1700 a night and none of us would do it agin for the amount we spent. Here are a few issues:-One of the bedroom doors and one of the bathroom doors would not close all the way. -The patio door lock (even after they replaced it, which was nice) beeped like every 20 minutes very loudly in the main sitting area. A number of other smoke or carbon monoxide detectors were also beeping and chirping frequently, and were audible while trying to sleep or watch something. Pretty annoying. - For the number of rooms the house has, it only has 2 parking spots.- At night there's no way to cover the giant windows and the area is quite busy, so everyone outside can see right into the main living area. - There were fairly limited supplies and cooking tools on hand. We ended up having to buy dishwasher tablets and a few other things. - The hot water heater was tiny, especially for the number of people the house holds.
My family, an 11 person group, (all connoisseurs' of vacation rentals) unanimously voted this as one of the worst rentals we have ever encountered. The property manager was quick to try and solve the problems, but there were so many it was impossible for her to right this wrong. Apparently the AC broke the minute we checked in on a 110 degree index day... but even after being repaired the next day we boiled in this house. Spiders and bugs and webs and bug filth everywhere! Bathroom doors that would not shut at all... rooms that didnt have doors on them at all. Moldy wet laundry in the laundry room on check in. Beeping everywhere... beeping appliances, smoke detectors, oven alarms, door locks out of batteries, no bulbs in the hallway downstairs... very dark. One of our family members is nearly blind... very hard for him to see. I hope they fix all these faults before they rent it again... but I would steer clear of this rental!!!!
