„This was our 6th visit to Tybee and our first time staying on the marsh side. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Missy’s cabin was what I would call rustic chic. It was very well appointed with about anything you could want in a rental, decorated beautifully and eclectically, and maintains its island charm. „Great stay with our college daughter and dog. Host thought of everything - wagon, beach cabana, beach chairs, frisbee, and a fully stocked kitchen. The fenced yard was great for our dog, and we enjoyed the fire pit on cool evenings. The cottage is a super short walk to the beach and one block down is the Burkes Beach access that has a bathroom and dog wash/shower stations. Great area. „The tiny cottage is just perfect for travellers (couples or two close friends) who do not want to use the car every day. If one doesn't mind taking walks and wonder around a beautiful city, everything is within walking distance. The cottage has everything you need. Kitchen with everything you need (except dishwasher, which we were totally fine with) - even complimentary coffee and tea, bathroom & towels (with washing machine and dryer), a table for two, a small couch, a TV and a queensize bed. ...

„Sehr ungepflegter und abgewohnter Gesamteindruck. Beide Grills (Gas und Kohle) verdreckt, durchgerostet und völlig unbrauchbar. Die Hängematte gerissen, die Sitzkissen für die Außengarnituren verschimmelt. Im gesamten Außenbereich defekte Beleuchtung. Beim Gedanken an die Nutzung der Außenduschen bekommt man das Schaudern. „Check in was super easy—everything was clean—location was great—beds were comfy—hot tub was great—TV streaming use was easy—-we had no parking issues—communication from property manager was amazing—only 1 thing I would wish for is a filter for water but really no big deal. We had a great time and will be back!!“

Highly recommend Mermaid Cottages and this house. We walked everywhere and others staying in the neighborhood were all friendly and respectful. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs.
