„We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of staying in an old post office. The accommodation is comfortable & has everything you need. Steve, the host, who met us at the property was very friendly & helpful. For us the best part was the view of Loch Long & watching the boats come & go. We were lucky as the puffer boat moored up at the pier & we got to go aboard to have a look around. Highly recommend. “

„This is the third time we have stayed in this apartment. We come to visit family once a year and it suits us well. It is clean, comfortable and in central Helensburgh, with all that it offers. It is close to Loch Lomond, the Trossachs and the sea lochs nearby. We are fit and don't mind the 43 steps up to the apartment, but anybody who has mobility problems would find it difficult to access this apartment. We plan to use the apartment again. Bute is such a lovely island with a very specific charm (in architecture, landscape, history ...), and the people we met were overwhelmingly friendly and so pleasingly laid-back. The flat was great, too. It's on the first floor (ground floor is a different flat, which we didn't know - but it doesn't matter, because it's still spacious), and it's perfectly located, as well as tastefully decorated, clean, and equipped with all the comforts one needs and none ...

„This is a very concise, beautifully thought out space with a deck overseeing an expansive gorgeous valley filled sheep, birds, rising sun and moon. Iona and her husband could not have been more attentive and helpful. My husband and I have traveled the world seeking prehistoric monuments and sites and Kilmartin Glen is moments away as is its museum. The concentration of millenia of sites is exceeded only by the number of rock art sites even nearer the Pod. We recommend it highly!“

„Exactly as described and just what we needed for a couple nights. Well equipped, clean and good location. Short walk/drive to the beach and local shops including a supermarket. Check in and out was so easy and seamless. It is small but we didn't need anything bigger and makes it nice and cosy, also had a lovely little shared garden at the back for the dogs.“
