« Or stay at this Captiva home felt like it was ours. It had everything we needed and we really feel comfortable. I’ve been visiting Captiva for over 30 years and this was the first time I’ve rented a house. From the advantage of having our own private driveway Jacuzzi pool and private dock for our boat and fishing this really does feel like a cozy comfortable home away from home »

« Our group was three women ages 55 to 84 and a 20 month old toddler. Mostly a very positive experience, but it would have been nice to have sliding glass door blinds or draperies for privacy in the living room, as it faced the main house. Also there were a lot of loose cords and cables in the living room which were enticing to a toddler. Except for the stairs which were difficult for the 84 year old and toddler, we would definitely consider returning here. »

« The condo is clean and extremely comfortable. We brought items for breakfast and lunch in a cooler and dined at local eateries for dinner but appeared to have everything you would need if you were to cook. They have a cooler on wheels and chairs for the beach on the lanai for use. The pool is right behind the unit and then a short walk on the deck to the beach. That is the best part, private beach not crowded and just so relaxing. We loved our stay! »

« Fantastic house for 2 parents and their college-aged kids. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for a week at the beach. The game room had a pool table which we used every evening (be aware, no ping pong top yet while we were there). Game room/half bath is new construction and has a lot of potential. The Island is still in reconstruction in several locations after the hurrican but Sunset Captiva area did a really good job. « Overall, nice looking unit. You will need to bring your own towels or be prepared to wash all the time. If you’re coming in the winter, bring a couple blankets. « Location was great. Over all the place was very nice. Still a lot of work needed from Ian, but that is external property. Inside needs some attention...Carpet curling, wall hooks and no prints - kind of ugly, TV and wifi were at odds. Barely had any access to local news. No national news. Elevator out. TV actually went out in living room. Kept saying channel corrupt and so I’d switch the limited channels available and after 3 minutes it would freeze or cut out with the same message. No dust pan »

« Our stay was wonderful. The apartment is amazing, it had everything we needed. The communication with the host was great. The beach was beautiful. Overall our stay was very pleasant and peaceful. Captiva is still recovering, but we will definitely be back. »

« Nice condo and area. The condo was very clean. Pool an easy walk out the front. Beach wasn't crowded at all. Construction was occurring on condo property itself but was not near the condo itself. If you want to buy groceries, would recommend a Kroger before going across bridge to Sanibel.. the local grocery store is greatly overpriced with limited selections »

« The location was amazing from the moment you walk in the doors and see the view out over the mangrove and water. Watching the birds come and go and Osprey building nests was wonderful as was the sunrise coming in those windows. Walk to the beach is short to see sunsets. Watching the pelicans is always entertaining as is shelling and grabbing food at the mucky duck. Thank you so much for making such a lovely clean place available.Hard to leave. »
