The two living rooms are also great for doing separate activities. „The house overlooks Loch Erisort in a beautiful, quiet setting. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished with a better equipped kitchen than is found in many rental properties. We found it a good location for visiting Stornoway, the west coast of Lewis, and Harris. The local area to the south and east is also worth exploring. We had a meal at the local hotel which was pleasant, but, we thought pretty expensive, so wouldn’t really recommend that. “

„Joan's house is very spacious, well equipped, and perfectly located within 10 mins walk from the local shops (provisions, crafts and tweed) and the local restaurant, deli, ButtyBus, harbour and lochs. Thee ideal base location from which to explore by vehicle, bike, or on foot. Slept like logs, all of us. "We had a wonderful stay of one week in this absolute lovely house whith its overwhelming surrounding landcape. Such a good atmosphere, very cosy and very welcoming. We enjoyed hikes and walks and sightseeing in the region, best informed by the leaflets and maps in the house. We really do hope to return and send a big Thank you to Christina for having us as her guests."
