We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would come back in a heartbeat. »

« Our family of four truly loved our week at Rooftop Aerie. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable four our family, and the views were out of this world! Susan and John were amazing hosts - adding special little "extras" to our stay. They generously offered us farm-fresh eggs and lots of homegrown vegetables. Susan even made us some DELICIOUS sourdough bread and strawberry puree. John and Susan were incredibly friendly and responsive to any question we had during our stay. Our family...

« This home was an ideal size for our family of six, with the bunkhouse being a great place for the older kids to hang out. It was fun to see eagles, owls and have daily visits from a mother deer and her three fawns. Although we didn’t see any whales, watching and tracking the multiple shipping vessels was fun and interesting. And to top it off, sitting in the hot tub watching the world go by was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this vacation home- everything was perfect. »

« My spouse, son & I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, and the house had everything we needed to fix simple meals and enjoy cozy evenings. I suggest that before coming to Whidbey Island that you review ferry schedules! You may be able to reserve passage, but must do so well in advance in summer, etc. Overall, a delightful experience for us all! »

The house is nicely arranged for accommodating couples, families, and individuals, and provides a comfortable spot for spending relaxing time on beautiful Hat Island. The lot and picnic table across the road provide a wonderful view of Puget Sound, boats, and the state ferries. »
