« We had a wonderful stay at this lovely place near the river. The location was peaceful and offered beautiful views, making it a perfect spot to relax. One of the highlights was watching the freighters and other boats pass by—it was surprisingly fun and added a unique touch to our visit. We found ourselves frequently checking the marine traffic app to see when the next vessel would come through, which made the experience even more enjoyable. « The seven of us stayed there for a conference. We stayed here last year and it was perfect. They made some updates And they did an excellent job. This house is close to downtown which we walk to a few times and did some shopping after the conference. »

« We found this property very enjoyable and warm and welcoming. A category for senior adults needs to be added as there are more elderly individuals that travel a great deal. With that said, I feel that there should be ADA compliant and bars should be standard in all Air B& B units. Also if unit is on an upper level the renter should be aware of steps and elevators »

« A lovely base camp for our eastern / central UP adventures. The smoke from Canada made for some lovely sunsets. We saw crows, hawks, and eagle, and watched a family of otters swim by. We used the back deck to watch the freighters. Easy access to Brimley state park and Iroquois lighthouse for swimming. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for meals and family time. We arrived during a heat wave and used the portable AC very effectively but the latter half of the week, it was open...

« We loved our week here. Very clean and well stocked with everything you need. New appliances. Comfy beds. Lots of seating in the living room. Gorgeous waterfront area (but bring shoes you can go in the water with because lots of rocks near shore until you get past the end of the dock). Ample parking spaces. Loved the fire pit by the water. We did run in to one small issue but Jen was awesome about getting back to us right away and getting it when care of. Looking at dates for next year. ...

« Every window offers great views, and the deck is perfect for lounging or grilling. The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with a fantastic kitchen, located on a quiet street in a charming village. My only suggestion is to add some summertime views from the house, because a July sunrise is phenomenal. Enjoyed the house and our time in Detour. »

« This cabin was all it was described to be - perfect for the 2 of us for a few days. Nice, quiet area, good access to the water, and a few miles from Cedarville and other points of interest. Easy check in and out - really appreciate the hospitality of this cabin. We look forward to another visit in the future! »
