« This room was clean and well-maintained. The people were very friendly. Convenient to downtown Manteo and about 10-15 from Jennette’s Pier at Nags Head. Only negative is there’s just one parking space per room, but for most people that is probably just fine. A cute and comfortable place to stay. Would go back and would recommend. »

« There was no toilet paper on the holder in the bathroom. After a brief search I found a new roll and installed it on the holder myself. There was a Keurig coffee maker in the room, but no coffee. This is my third stay at this hotel and the second time there has been no coffee in the room. The first time I had to go to the front desk and ask for some, but this time I didn't realize it until the next morning, which was too late to bother with it. »

« The location was great. We have stayed at Pirates Cove several times and love being on the sound. We saw dolphins from the deck and caught crabs from the dock. Having a great restaurant and bar on site is a plus. The house is nicely decorated but we found the furnishings to be lacking. The sofas in the living area are small and not comfortable for relaxing.
