Easy check-in and can’t wait to come back to the space once construction of the first floor is complete. Would recommend this spot to anyone traveling in the area! »

« 5 of us really enjoyed our 4-night stay here. The place was clean and well-furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen. The owner was friendly, helpful, responsive. One of us uses a wheelchair or a walker, and was generally quite comfortable. I discovered I could get her up the one step onto the porch and into the house by tipping and lifting the wheelchair. Some of the carpets slowed her down a little, but she enjoyed the stay. Great to have the lake and Madeleine Island right out the windows. »

« This was a great spot to relax, Hiking at the state park was beautiful and hanging out with the locals at the Beach Club listening to them tell me their stories and the history of the island. The property was quiet, clean and cozy. My tip is bring food on the island, not all restaurants are open and the store is limited. »

« The whole house is immaculate and our unit was the same. The only downside was that our unit at the top of the house was pretty cozy, i.e., small. The bathroom was actually pretty spacious but the bedroom was crowded for just the 2 of us. No false advertising, just small. The views in all directions were glorious. We enjoyed walking around Bayfield and getting in some great hikes along the national lakeshore. »

« We came to Bayfield purposefully after the AppleFest to avoid some of the crushing crowds. We appreciated the text that notified us of an early check-in opportunity but we had some stops on the road, so didn’t get there in time to take advantage of that. « It’s a wonderful location, beautiful panoramic views of Lake Superior. Jack is an excellent host. We really enjoyed talking to him. Our only complaint would be that there was a big step up in the bathroom. It was difficult to manage & not very safe. It would be very easy to trip on this in the middle of the night. And the bath towels could have been larger. We loved the Bayside area! »
