„Colonel's Retreat isn't a fancy hotel with a pool. It's in a safe & quiet residential area and it has a "soul". The rooms are a good size, excellent shower and very comfy bed. The staff are lovely, they even when we had an early train offered a takeaway breakfast. They also organised all our pickups and drop offs very efficiently. Liebevolle Betreuung durch die Besitzer Sheetal und Atul und das Personal. Sehr anregend waren die Gespräche morgens um den großen Frühstückstisch. Wir werden im kommenden Herbst auf jeden Fall wieder dort wohnen.“

„The place is a bit far from the main gaths and turistic atraction and a bit hard to reach (has to be by foot). The staff was nice and the AC worked well in the room which was really good, since the rest of the place was pretty warm. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was not separeted from the rest, which leads to the whole bathroom being wet after showering. The mattress was old and had a whole in the center. Breakfast was OK. If you are not searching for too much comfort, this place is good.“
