„This was a delightfully peaceful stay for my husband and me. There is plenty of room for at least 6 people and even a detached building/BBQ to entertain around 30 people and ample parking.David Woodie is a wonderful host. This is the second time we have stayed at one of this Host’s properties. It is very conveniently located to downtown Sparta, which is charming. „The house was wonderful as was the host. Perfect size the 2 couples with 2 beds and 2 full bathrooms. Loved that the bedrooms had luggage stands, no suitcases on the floor!The neighborhood was quiet and in walking distance to town, the hill going back to the house may be challenging for some.“

„We stayed for a family get together, the space was nice but for a larger group (7) the kitchen was small. We used paper plates and plasticware to keep down on dishes but there is only one outside trash can and with a larger group including an infant trash was taken out more often and accumulated quickly. Take notethere is no yard to walk your dog, we had our small dog and walked her up the road which wasn't a problem for us. Easy check-in and out. We would stay again, we loved the decks and ...

„We stayed at The Beaver Den while visiting West Jefferson for a family birthday and reunion, and it was perfect. The home was clean, comfortable, well kept, and centrally located. Amanda was fantastic—very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Downtown West Jefferson had plenty of shopping, dining, and activities, and it was a short drive to Boone, Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and other nearby attractions. „The host, Jodee, was quick to respond and very helpful. Don't pass this place up! Fully stocked house with: electricity, inside bath, outdoor shower and the land with the stream don't miss this, bring your pole. We absolutely loved it. Very peaceful. “
