Visiting family for the Christmas Holiday season. The layout of the place is very nice overall. The idea behind the house is great, just not as well executed as it could be. The cabinetry and most of the furniture makes IKEA look upscale. On the good side, the beds were pretty comfy. As is common in these layouts, the upstairs was sweltering hot when the main level was comfy, and when the upstairs is comfy, the main level is frigid. One thermostat, no dampers other than using the vents themselves, which leads to a really annoying whine. We managed. Not as much dishware as most of these rentals have, and essentially no condiments. Great to have the coffee pods though.BIGGEST DISSATISFIER: NO WIFI!!! Who in this day and age does not offer WiFi? It is there, as the TV seemed to be connected to it, but not available to renter. Sure, we can tether, but really? Not to mention the battery drain on phones. Also, nice looking garage. Too bad it isn't available either. There were two garage door remotes, but neither seemed to work, and they were tucked away next to the microwave so we are pretty sure they were not meant to be there. There is good street parking.Might stay there again, but only if WiFi becomes available.
