« The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay. »

« Property matches listing - good bathrooms, beds, kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher. It was too hot to use the hot tub while we were there but looks like a lovely spot to relax. Was so great we could use the garage! Nice quiet neighborhood. Host was communicative and pleasant to work with. AC works great but makes a loud noise when it turns on so you may want to let it run a bit warmer at night to limit impact on sleep. »

« It was a charming cottage! Very clean and had all the amenities you could want! Full kitchen and most appliances, extra blankets, iron/board, lots of storage space, games, toiletries, books, and more. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed our visit and would very likely return here the next time we go to Clear Lake! Highly recommend! »

« From the moment I walked in I felt "at Home" Perfect size place which is detached from the main home but is attached to a rarely used garage. As I looked out the living room window. Through the trees I saw something running right through the yard... It was moving fast and had as the sun hit this strange sight it glistened beautifully. Still puzzled as to what it was I walked just through the gate and onto the gorgeous grean grass...then I spotted a fishing boat on top of this moving mass of.......
