« Omg!!! The Highlands Ranch Resort is a hidden gem!! Gorgeous surroundings, 10 min drive outside Lassen Volcanic NP. The individual cottages with fireplaces, heated tiled bathroom floors, the most comfortable bed and bedding! In the morning light snow was falling - breath taking views! « Home is nice and cozy. We stayed 5 nights. Property is spacious and quiet truly in the country. Owner was kind enough to offer alternative dates to have 24hours between us and another family for cleaning. We are big cooks and would have just like storage containers for leftover, foil or plastic storage bags.Do to being out in the country garbage had to be kept in the laundry room in big hefty can. Not a problem but by the time we left was getting ripe!No AC but keeping windows open at night...

« This was just a one-night stopover on our way to a family reunion in Oregon, but it was really pleasant. Google maps took us to a neighboring apartment complex (across the backyard fence from the home) but once we found our way, everything was really nice. Also appreciate the property's dog-friendly policy! We used the BBQ, had a nice dinner, slept well (thanks to the AC, which worked well and quickly), and were on our way. Thanks again! »
