This is the most beautiful cabin we have ever stayed in! We spent our evenings watching all the amazing wildlife from the private dock! Largest enough to accommodate our large family!

We loved our stay! The view from the dock was gorgeous, home was clean and beautiful. Great location to go into Yellowstone. We had a smoke detector alarm going off at check in and they came to fix it right away. Would love to come stay again.

This is a lovely property! We encountered a couple minor issues upon check-in but Management was very responsive and remedied them right away. The location on the lake, the deck, and the docks are all amazing! Made our boating time easy and fun. The property does not have any sort of dining table... only the large bar and lots of barstools. We had to get creative so our group could enjoy some card games together. ;) Make sure you bring along any type of spices for cooking... salt and pepper is all we found in the cupboards. Would definitely stay here again.

Looked to be recently updated. Kitchen was big enough for several adults to prep meals together. Rooms were spacious and tidy. Luggage racks and box fans for each room. (No A/C, but not needed - even in July). Plenty of bathrooms on all levels. Easy to use hot tub - and a few towels just for that. A happy surprise was 2 kayaks and life jackets. Chairs on back deck overlooking the lake made for a beautiful AND comfortable view. Dock was perfect for our group of 8 - a sibling and kids came by for the day and we had plenty of room for everybody!Neighbors were friendly and chill, too. Highly recommend!

Yellowstone Adventure

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lake Escape House. Perfect for our many trips into Yellowstone. We enjoyed being out in the country and on the river. The house was exactly how it was listed and our host Ty was very accessible.

Great Place

Very nice place great layout for large family. We based out of there and did Yellowstone and there are things do near Island Park. It’s remote but with all the amenities you need. Very satisfied.

Great Place!

This was a great place to stay, close to West Yellowstone and right on the lake. Fit our needs perfectly. It was peaceful and a very relaxing place to stay. There were a few minor maintenance issues when we checked in, however, they were fixed immediately upon contacting our host. I highly recommend this property and would stay there again!

The property didn't disappoint on expectations. Lovely, well-appointed home presented as shown. Kayak paddles were missing, but grandchildren improvised with large sticks. Having said this, we were not without an issue: Strangers invading the deck and campsite. On three occasions we had to physically approach, contact property manager and escort individuals from the area. Individuals claimed they were friends of the owner (not), didn't know anyone was staying at the cabin (3 out-of-state cars in driveway, campfire smoldering, and the house lit up like a Christmas tree). We lost one whole evening of family campfire and fishing and felt compensation was warranted and requested. As of this date, no action has been taken. The four-star rating is a result of this issue.

Perfect weekend with the family!

This place was perfect for our family of 6 and our kids friends who came along. Plenty of beds and space for everyone. The cabin is clean and well appointed. Communication with owner The dock on the lake was our favorite place to hang out. We will be back!

Weekend family fishing trip

The cabin was very nice! Our grandkids loved the wagon beds. Very clean and everything was as described. We'll definitely plan another stay next summer for longer than a weekend. The managing property was very helpful and responded right away with any questions we had.

Exceeded our expectations

We frequently gather our family at rentals for fun reunions and this was one of our favorite locations ever. The children were busy at the dock the entire three days, fishing, jet skiing, tubing, and swimming. Adults took turns on the water with the kids, reading in hammocks we brought, or just visiting with each other. Everyone had a marvelous time.

Wonderful Stay

Our family stayed here while visiting Yellowstone. It was only 25 minutes to West Yellowstone. Wonderful cabin! So much space. Great kitchen. Loved the firepit by the lake. We saw a family of moose everyday at the end of the road. We also had a great time going a few minutes down the road to Island Park for supper at a great restaurant by the river. The manager replied to all of our emails very quickly and was a wonderful host to the property.

Great House!

We used this house as a launching point for a family trip to Yellowstone. The house is amazing. It’s stocked well and more than enough room for our family of 11 ages 8-70. Kids had fun fishing and swimming from the dock. The drive to west Yellowstone was 15min. West gate to Yellowstone get very busy after 8am so leave early or go in the afternoon. Had a small problem with one of the showers but was resolved quickly. Would stay in the house again.

Great House

House was just as described. Very clean and tidy. The house is tucked back in the woods along part of the lake. My family had room to spread out and rewind after a long day. The restaurant choices that were given were excellent. We were treated to a moose in the creek on the way in to the house. If you have a chance to stay here you won’t be sorry!
