« Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig und abgeschieden, umgeben von Pferdeweiden. FĂŒr uns einfach perfekt. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und das Check-in verlief angenehm und unkompliziert. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht und es ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Der riesige schwarze Sandstrand, der in kurzer Entfernung hinter der Unterkunft zu erreichen ist, hat uns sehr ĂŒberrascht und war unglaublich toll. »

« The house and location worked out great for us. Three bedrooms with a great layout overall. I loved the kitchen and living room area with tons of windows and views. The sauna was great, and we used it each day. The location was optimal for our short stay, only 3 nights, to get to see the Golden Circle and Southern Coast trip well. « Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts. »

« My 10 year-old son and I had a wonderful stay. Margret, the host, was kind, thoughtful, and warm. We loved the house. It is charming, tasteful, and well appointed. Upon arrival, we found fresh flowers, fruit, pastries, yogurt, and a bottle of wine. The location is convenient and walking distance to most of the major sites in Reykjavik. My son was especially enchanted by the sleeping loft. We truly loved our stay. »
