Hotel Isle of Thanet

« We booked 3 nights at the Pegwell and I would say it’s the best hotel in Ramsgate. From getting a nice early check in, to the delicious breakfast every thing was spot on. The walk into Ramsgate is around 40 minutes and is lovely, we found the location perfect, and very quiet. Highly recommend the hotel and Ramsgate for a weekend break. »

« Staff are overworked. They have to check you in while serving at the bar. We were charged by Expedia and charged a second time when we checked in for the stay. Expedia refused to assist in the resolution, saying we had to work it out with the hotel. »

« chambre à 2 lits une personne d'une très bonne taille; les lits sont très confortables ; la salle de bain neuve et très propre; l’hôtel est très bien chauffé. le petit déjeuner compris dans le prix est tout à fait correct et il est possible d'avoir avec supplément raisonnable un petit déjeuner british. Le personnel est aimable.De plus l’hôtel est situé face à la mer et dispose d'une salle de gym et d'un sauna. »

« Clean room near the beach ideal for restaurants and bars etc »

« The location is ideal for the seafront and restaurants. The bathroom was very spacious however the room itself was extremely tight. Unfortunately the service was so bad, I will not be returning. When checking in, we had to speak to 3 different members of staff before finding out which room we were in, and not one of those staff members even said hello or greeted us in any way. They ran past us trying not to acknowledge our present, We were just left standing there with absolutely no information...

« Très bonne adresse, chambres confortables, maison idéalement située. Jim le propriétaire est super acceuillant, aux petits soins, et très sympathique. Dommage que le nom de la maison ne soit pas écrit car les extérieurs n'indiquent pas qu'on est à la bonne adresse. Il reste que c'est une maison donc on entend le moindre chuchotement de la chambre voisine. Mais ça reste un détail si on sait à quoi s'attendre (pour ma part on ne m'a jamais précisé à la réservation qu'il ne s'agissait pas d'un...

« Great location. Views at breakfast and dinner amazing. Staff friendly. Chef(s) really good. Parking is close by; just not for any electric drivers that charging may not work (due to grid issues) so be aware. »

« Outstanding service by the employees all requests made were received dealt with genuine customer service very comfortable atmosphere to be in. Excellent value for money with lovely big rooms! »

« Easy to find, clear instructions regarding keys, etc.. Not a huge amount of things nearby, apart from the nice beach. Perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, but in the summer the easier access to the beach must be a plus. »
