My husband, 26 year old daughter, and I stayed here for 5 nights over Christmas. Property as described and located in older, established, quiet, neighborhood. We had the feeling we were in the country, but in reality were just a few blocks from the center of downtown. The home and yard are as pictured and described and very clean. The weather was cool - 45 - 60 degrees and cloudy. The house is older so not as insulated as newer homes, but the central heat works very well. We were very comfortable as we could adjust the thermostat to keep us warm and cozy. The only concerning issue we had is that the sofa in the living room is broken. My husband sat on it and immediately and abruptly the cushion and he sank to the floor. We jnformed the owner of this and had another question about the property, but we didn’t receive a response for more than 24 jours. After I messaged him again he again began to respond promptly. Our stay was nice and we had mostly everything we needed. There is no washer or dryer on the property. This wasn’t a deal breaker for us as we have family in the area and did our laundry at their home. It’s just a bit inconvenient to lug it around. Charming home and we’re happy we choose it.
