« The cabin was exactly like it was described. The room was clean and well decorated. The cabin was right on the river. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony that overlooked the water. We were going to go canoeing, but the canoes were too heavy (for females) to carry to the river. There is some traffic noise, but the view and atmosphere makes up for it. We would definitely go back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. »

« We were in Jefferson for the Civil War Reenactment and this house was perfect for our stay. It was across the street from one of the reenactor encampment locations and a short, easy walk to the downtown area. Even though it was close to everything, it was quie6 and peaceful. The house is beautiful and plenty large enough for a fwmily. Check in, check out super easy. The owner is very quick to answer questions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next year. »

« FIRST thing was no electricity on in the house when we arrived. We immediately called host who did not know why electric was off. We were able to open outside breaker box & turn it on. The place was large & old. We did not see any bugs while there, ac & heat was good. However house was right on Hwy 59, & the traffic noise was LOUD. We had brought a box fan & it did cut down on the noise. It was pet-friendly for our dog. NOW although the house was basically clean, it needs a good deep cleaning,...

« Four of us friends stayed here for several nights and had a wonderful, relaxing time. It was so relaxing we didn't leave the place other than for a boat tour. The home is great, clean and has everything you need! It is well-stocked and spacious. The biggest decision we had to make each day was which deck to sit on! We enjoyed watching the birds especially the pair of stunningly bright yellow Prothonotary warblers nesting in the birdhouse near the house which I watched out the bedroom window each...
