Spacious place with unforgettable view

My family of 4 adults and 4 teenagers had a wonderful stay in this newly renovated place. It is spacious and confortable. We walked to the supermarket 5 minutes away. We enjoyed our family breakfasts and dinners on the large table. The view of the skyline is incredible at sunset or sunrise or anytime during the day. It's NYC spirit! Not to mention Suzy is a very communicative and helpful host.

What a beautiful apartment! Clean, well-equipped, comfortable, just lovely. We were a group of eight (six teenage boys with us) traveling to visit NYC for spring break. The local light rail station is a very quick walk from the apartment, and we easily made our way to Manhattan each day. This quiet, comfortable home was the perfect place to land at the end of our long days of exploring the city. We were excited to see the NYC skyline and Statue of Liberty from the dining room window. Host was very quick to respond to questions, and we had no issues at all. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice and clean property. We enjoyed our stay. Check in process is very straightforward. We were given instructions on how to travel to NYC! If you are looking for a place to stretch out at a reasonable price, this is definitely a good place to stay! Love the coffee bar!!

Our stay here was great! We had an amazing view of the skyline from the dining room windows, the house had enough room for our family to stay comfortably. The house is also very close to the transit station so getting to NYC was very doable!

NYC at Christmas is fabulous and the apt made it even better. Very spacious for a girls trip and easy access to the train system to get in the city quickly. Suzy was absolutely amazing in making sure we had everything we needed. Went above and beyond and provided my daughter with a wedge pillow due to her unexpected injury prior to our trip. The house had everything we needed and more. Thanks for a wonderful time! We hope to be back.

Our stay at this property was unfortunately below expectations. The house was extremely hot, and we were unable to adjust the thermostat. The bunk beds were loud and squeaky, and overall the home didn’t comfortably accommodate our group—there were not enough towels, wash rags, or toilet paper for eight people over a five-day stay. Several basic features were inconvenient, including very high kitchen cabinets, no closets to hang clothes, and multiple staircases that made moving around cumbersome.We also experienced one night without hot water. House rules were unusually restrictive, such as a garbage schedule limited to 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a laundry curfew, and towels being locked up. Additionally, we were even asked to unclog drains ourselves, which felt inappropriate for a rental property.With a few improvements to comfort, supplies, and host expectations, this home could offer a much better guest experience.

This property looks like photos and is clean and has all the things you need. The location was easy for the holland tunnel. I would not recommend a car. While it does have street parking most days we’re very difficult to find a spot. It would be nice if the balcony was available for guests to use. The host was quick and responsive to all our needs and questions.

It was a very pleasant stay , we stayed here for 5 nights with elderly and kids , the rooms are spacious and very clean. We absolutely loved the place, also there is a grocery store just opposite to the property and the train station is just a block away. Also our host was very responsive to all our queries and gave us enough recommendations to make our sightseeing easier. I highly recommend this property.

This rental was better than expected. It was relatively centralized to everything restaurants, city activities, NYC, and of course the American Dream! The only small issue was parking but it wasn’t too bad! We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent from again!

Great place to stay for a weekend!

My friends and I were in town this weekend for a concert at MetLife, and this apartment was a great place to stay. It was spacious, well kept, and everything matched the listing exactly. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were a good size. The kitchen had everything we needed. The two bathrooms came in very handy for our group of 5 all trying to get ready for a show, and both were great size with good lighting and an awesome setup. The only thing we wished the apartment had was a full length mirror (for getting ready purposes). As others have said, the neighborhood was a little bit messy (trash etc). Parking was tough when we arrived on Saturday, but as cars started to move we were able to walk back to where we had parked and easily move to spots closer to the house. But those things are definitely not the host’s fault and would not deter us from staying here again. The view of the NY skyline and especially the Statue of Liberty was beautiful. We hope we did things right for check out…the instructions on the table said to turn off the lights before leaving, and the host messaged us this morning asking us to take out the trash which was easy to do. We would have been happy to do additional things to help with the cleaning process (i.e., strip beds, etc.) but the fact that we didn’t have to made our morning and the checkout process even easier for us! Thanks for a great weekend stay!

Perfect for NY city tours

We stayed here with two families and four kids (ages 5 to 10) and had an absolutely great time. The apartment is exactly as shown in the listing — very clean, well-furnished, and comfortable for a group. The pool table was a big hit, and we made full use of the well-stocked kitchen for meals and snacks.The location was ideal for visiting New York City. While there's a nearby NJ Transit station within walking distance, we usually took a 10-12 Uber to Journal Square, which made getting into the city fast and easy. It was also about 10 to Liberty State Park, where we caught the ferry to the Statue of Liberty.The hostess was exceptional — always available and incredibly responsive. We checked in late and had a few questions, which she answered instantly, even after 10 PM. We also had to make a few adjustments to our schedule, and she was gracious and accommodating throughout.One thing to be aware of: the immediate surroundings of the apartment aren't particularly scenic. You might notice things like beer bottles or litter along the sidewalks. That said, we never felt unsafe, and it didn’t affect our stay at all. You won’t likely find tranquil surroundings this close to the city, so we saw it as a fair trade-off for the convenience.Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely book this place again for future trips to NYC. Highly recommended for families or groups looking for space, comfort, and easy city access.

We really enjoyed our stay here - the apartment was clean, spacious and very well equipped.The host was very helpful, too, and provided us with local recommendations and public transport instructions which helped us get our bearings on the first day.
