« The location can’t be faulted, less than 10 mins drive from Mittagong and just over that to Bowral, on a gorgeous piece of land. The house itself was just stunning. Spacious rooms and plenty of breakout spaces, huge kitchen and dining table and the outlook over the farm was amazing. Very easy check in and check out process too. 10/10 would stay again! »

« We had a phenomenal weekend away with the extended family at Somerton. We enjoyed beautiful walks to see the cattle, admiring the stunning view, nights by the outdoor fire and playing tennis with the family. Judy and Grahman were exceptional hosts and we will most definitely be back again next year. »

« Our family loved our weekend at Highlands Lake House. Sam was amazing to communicate with. Location stunning. House had great atmosphere. We loved the log fire and fire pit. Highly recommend. Only comment would be to Stayz that it would improve information for people with additional needs if you listed each accessibility feature rather than just a generic ‘wheelchair accessible’ comment. (Eg step free access to different areas including showers etc.) if you provided hosts with different...

« Kids had a ball. Woke up of their own accord before 6am to feed the calves and baby lambs and collect the chickens eggs. Judith and Don were so nice. Great experience, can’t wait to do it again. »

« We had a great long weekend with our dog at this property. It’s a great mix of old and new with all the modern comforts. We had a great time walking around the property. The creek through the property is stunning. Would definitely come back again. »

« The number lock on the gate was a nightmare to open at all times. It took us a minimum of 15 minutes each time to open. Hope this could be made easy. Other than that we would give 5 stars for everything else. »

« The house was well furnished, clean, and comfortable. The property was beautiful with some farm animals. We had a great time and would love to stay again. Communication with the property manager was easy and they were quite responsive. »

« We love animals and this place had plenty of it. Ducks, Alpacas, Chickens, Birds and most importantly the 2 dogs Jonathan and Patrick who jumped into bed with us a couple of times and even dropped by for breakfast with our dog. »

« We had a very relaxing time. We loved the panoramic views from every room. The house was very clean and cosy, with 3 separate living areas. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset and the star gazing was amazing. It was certainly a nature indulging experience. »

« Wonderful location for coat weekend away. The home was wonderful and had everything we needed. It was so warm and both fireplaces made it the perfect winter escape. Judy and Graham were excellent hosts and so responsive! The chooks, cows and alpacas were lovely to visit too. »
