West facing backyard- overlooking a small lake, a full kitchen, stocked with the basics and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower- you'll have a cozy place to rest after a busy day of enjoying all that the West Coast has to offer. Your self-contained suite is located in our home - with a private entrance. **Private washer/dryer available for 4+ night stays** (due to water restrictions)

The space
Sometimes you have to travel rougher roads to get to beautiful places.

Modern but rustic. A ground-level/daylight basement suite within our home - with private entrance, full kitchen and a firm, memory foam, Queen bed. There is also a foam mattress if needed. 1 bedroom but please see floor plans (no closing door). Enjoy the tranquil view from the backyard and relax after a day of hiking.

Coffee and tea provided.

Guest access
Guests have the entire suite to themselves. Guests are welcome to enjoy the backyard.

We live on site and you will likley see us around the yard.

Please do not wander onto our neighbours property.

Other things to note
The driveway is a bit steep and a tad bumpy. Think of it as adding to the rural charm ;) Our little car does it daily with no problems-just take it slow (but not too slow going up) and steady. We drive a Toyota iM and have no issues. Unfortunately it's a long communal driveway and paving it is not within our means.

Do not leave any food outside - this is black bear country. They're not a danger or a problem if we do our part.
