"Typical 1800's Country Town Pub. Showing wear and tear, but it was a quaint experience. The dining room is the best part of the hotel. Friendly local people. We had a quiet night and slept well in our room. The water is nice and hot, plus ability to boil a jug in the kitchenette."

"Felt right at home. Couldn't get to the beach (possibly due to tides) but Kaiiwi Lakes were a lovely surprise on a hot afternoon. Well appointed and comfortable"

"Thank you so much for allowing us to stay here. The house was warm, beautiful view, lovely water pressure, situated in a perfect location for us to get to the wananga we had attended. Great relaxing break
"A lovely, relaxed place with superb views of a beautiful wild beach. The house is very clean, comfortable and well set up with everything we needed. We were made to feel very welcome and the baking and tomatoes were amazing, thank you! Highly recommend for a getaway."
