« I'm sad to say that this hotel was pretty awful. After staying at this property for 50 years while visiting family, I won't go back. Unfortunately basic maintenance isn't a priority. The first room I was in had an area by the sink where the floor had been removed and a board & carpet placed on top. The board was not sturdy. Dangerous. The door sweep was laying next to the door. « Before the fire a few years ago, and I am assuming new ownership, this hotel used to be a really nice place to stay! Now it's half the original price more, no more coffee pots in room and no more breakfasts. After checking in, I was informed that they do not supply drain stoppers (for bathtub), as too many people have overflowed the tubs. Upon prodding, the front desk person finally brought me a drain stopper, but it didn't work in this particular tub. The refrigerator had seen better days and...

« Very surprised how clean it was! Great cheap stay! »

« Although the room & bathroom were clean, when we entered the room upon arrival, a very unpleasant sewage odor was present. This odor was corrected by an air freshner my husband found in the exercise room. The curtains need to be replaced as the backing was deteriorating allowing streetlight & am sunlight to filter through. The beds were very comfortable; the linen & towels were adequate. The staff was very cordial & parking was adequate. The breakfast offered was limited. »
