The air split air conditioner was not working, and were not informed of it. A portable system was left on the floor right next to the headboard of the bed. The hose from the unit was run down on the floor alongside the bed, which wasca tripping hazard, and ran out the front patio door that left a 6 inch gap that was closed with plastic. The unit was left with no instructions to take care of it. We eventually figured out that you had to drain the water out of the unit yourself every 40 minutes cause an alarm signal would go off, and then it would blow warm air. The unit was so loud next to the bed, we had to shut it off every night to sleep. The lock on the patio door was disabled cause of the gap to run the hose out the patio door, we had to tie a string to feel safe. Wires were left hanging at the top of the door.The patio door was so dirty, the front desk gave us a cloth and spray and told us we had to clean it ourselves. We cut short our stay in this rental cause we were both uncomfortable and started feeling ill no doubt from the water being left in the unit blowing inside for days before we figured out we had to drain it. We moved to a different resort.
