„Sauberes, grosses Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal, Essen hervorragend, sehr schöne Bar.

„We knew this would be an adventure in the jungle without normal comforts but this was really disappointing. The tent were generally quite dirty but the main problem is the only toilet on the whole site is in your own tent and out tent smelt of sewage so badly we left after one night as we could not stand another night there. There were also a million insects including a giant millipede as the zips do not completely seal off tent. Then the bar was not operating as their licence has expired. The ...

„Nice place, quiet and enjoyable “

„First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine. ...

„Super exclusive base for safaries. Fantastic food from breakfast to lunch and dinner, very knowledgeable guides and great service overall. Would recommend to anyone looking for a premium experience in Yala.“

„The owners and staff went out of their way to ensure the stay was as comfortable as possible. Great location with real homely atmosphere. “

„You can not be closer to nature. It's amazing to listen to the sound of nature especially in the morning. To join the safari is recommended as the game does not provide big entertainment except peacefull tent areas with relaxing hammrocks. The staff is very friendly and caring. The tents are almost like Hotel rooms and perfectly equiped. Dinner is served as BBQ and it is very tasty. Breakfast is offered with fresh fruits. Once you participate to the Safari you are guided perfectly and you also ...

„The stay was amazing. From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by the owners of the property who showed exceptional hospitality. The room was really nice and clean with an amazing view of the surroundings. The food was 10/10 with a selection of both local and international options. The owners helped with arranging a jeep for the safari and were ready to help with any other requests. I would highly recommend staying at the property if you’re going for the Yala Jungle Safari. “

„Makini Bush Camp is an absolute gem in Yala! The stunning tented rooms are beautifully decorated and equipped with all the comforts you could wish for, including a refreshing plunge pool—perfect for cooling off after a walk in the bush. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable stay, accommodating a range of experiences, including a half-day safari inside the park and a delightful nature walk around the camp. Our guide, Mr. Koushalya, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate ...

„Worst Experience – This is Not Even a Hotel This place should not be listed as a hotel. It is located in the middle of nowhere, completely inaccessible by car. We had to walk a long distance on foot, during which we encountered wild animals — an extremely unsafe situation. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find that the entire facility was in a state of severe neglect. Mold was present everywhere — on the walls, ceilings, and even furniture. The conditions were absolutely unacceptable. We ...
