„This place was AWESOME. Somehow it was even better than the pictures show. We opened the wall of doors every day and loved the in-door, out-door experience. Turtles on the beach at dusk, monk seal on the beach which was just a short walk away. Quiet dead-end street. Just perfect. No missing amenities. Love, love, loved it!“

„I am so glad we found this place. It has a unique charm to it versus all the condo listings we saw. Amazing lanai view of the water and a little inlet with tons of turtles. Amenities were great. AC was cool, kitchen was great, everything was clean. We stopped at costco in Lihue and did some cooking. The perfect place if you are looking for something on the south side. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Minutes from Koloa and Poipu. We loved it.“

„We had a lovely stay at the Palaka cottage. Waking up with kids, going on the lanai for breakfast, and walking to the beach were a joy. The space was perfect, the amenities were fantastic, and the outdoor shower turned out to be clutch especially showering off the littles after a day at the beach.“

„This is where my wife and I stayed while exploring the North shore portion of our trip to Kaua’i. I would say this shore is a little slower pace and less congested than the other areas we stayed. It’s kind a short drive to do anything except visit Anini beach which is a very short walk from this property.This is what I would almost call a guest house on this property, the main house is just a short 25 feet away, and is also available on VRBO. Awesome if you have multiple parties wanting to stay ...

„Absolutely loved the location, the quiet neighborhood, the big lanai, the outdoor shower and the brand new bbq! Found the counter space a bit small for doing much cooking. Only small issue was that the cutlery drawer had a horrible musty smell, possibly from the wicker tray, so we kept our cutlery in a mug on the counter. Would definitely stay again!“
